As advertised - good for teens, but not younger
As advertised, teenager liked it very much Dec 2022 - calendar is as advertised. teenager liked it very much as a gift. some of the patterns and instructions are too complicated for a younger child. nice product and not terribly overpriced. keep in mind, it is basically a calendar with pix of horses, do not expect too much more.

The pages aren't square. Promotions for their website on some days.
The pages are not square, but each day is supposed to be the next day's folding paper. Awful terrible qc failure.Some days do not contain folding instructions, but direct the purchaser to learn the basics from their website, instead of just doing this regularly throughout the calendar.

cute idea but made with cheap paper
paper is cheap and does not look like origami paper.

I've origami folded off and on since I was a kid, so I'm gobsmacked that the first Fold on Day One, January 1 is too difficult to understand and complete. Really? They begin with something too complicated? And by the way the square paper is cut slightly off, it's not a precisely exact square, so when folded the edges are a bit askew.

Better as a calendar than tutorial
This calendar was a gift from my mother (so it won't be a verified purchase), because she knows I've always liked origami. Some of the projects here are easy, but many of the instructions leave a lot to be desired. We are supposed to follow the arrows, but the arrows often point to some vague spot off the project. Do I fold the whole thing? Only the top flap? Do I fold it in front or behind? I can't get it to look like the next diagram. I end up wadding some projects into origami rocks and call it a day. Other times, I'll find similar projects on YouTube and follow them to much better results.

I buy one every year for my husbands Xmas and he is always happy with it.

The paper isn't perfectly square.
The paper isn't perfectly square. It's noticeable when folding in half diagonally or trying to get perfect lines. Still works and is a fun to do daily origami but only 3 stars cause the paper dimensions
