Works better than more expensive treatments, even on 4 lb dog!
I swear by this flea treatment and feel much more comfortable giving it to me dogs, even a mini 4 pounder *only used half of a tube....still monitor, as opposed to the stronger advantix or similar treatments and it's a fraction of the cost of those or three vent preventative (although that is the best option as it also includes heartworm preventative but this is great if you cant afford the vet or don't have money for expensive treatments. This actually worked better even than some of the more expensive ones I've tried for a really tough case of the fleas on a pomsky (long, thick hair that can't be shaved!). I used this and diatomaceous earth sprinkled in the yard, on my dog (food grade only) and sprinkled on carpet, couches, dog beds, etc. Using an accordian style contraption that came with it and put a light plume into the air, covering everything. Apparently it acts like glass to fleas and flea larvae. You will have to repeat though as it won't touch the eggs.

May not be strong enough if your dog is use to vet meds
Worked ok for my mom’s dogs but wasn’t strong enough for my dog. My little dog had to go back to the vet and get the overpriced meds there as she got fleas 2-3 times using this brand and she is our child and cleaner than most humans. Sure wish it would have worked for us because it would have saved us $

Easy to use
This has made a huge difference in the fleas that the dogs have gotten. It is easy to use even when they are unsure about what I am doing to them. It has not bothered either of my dogs. I will keep using this because it actually works.

The 50/50 split
So it looks like this treatment only works with a certain type of chemistry within your dog and then it doesnt work at all for others. That is my hypothesis because I cant imagine the half that left a positive review were all lying in these reviews. For my girl I bought the largest size they have and it goes for up to twice her weight so i shook it good and only put half on her since it has such a high weight allowance. Well first off it wanted to sit on top of her skin it wouldn't absorb into her. It sat there on her like this for over an hour until it was nearly bed time and she sleeps in our bed so I wasnt having that in my bed even if she does stay at my feet. So I ended up having to try to smear it into her fur with a paper towel. Then I noticed this is more of a repellent than it is a killer. So keep that in mind. You'll want to have your pet outside when you apply this if you think they could possibly have gotten a flea or 2 because if so then they're going to jump off your dog inside your house and who wants that? Then you'd need to treat the whole house with borax. Which I don't do bugs at all ever so the minute I saw 1 flea jump off of her from this mess I ran to the store for borax automatically. Anyways moving on then I noticed a flea that wasnt jumping off he didnt seem bothered by it as the one was that did jump off. Lol so apparently that 50/50 split I mentioned at the start of my review fits perfectly as my ending too. I noticed this only repelled about half the fleas so yeah it must come down to each fleas certain type of internal chemistry as to whether or not this works. 🤣 full circle

Do not use on dogs with allergies
Works great! Controls fleas well. Use often as directed. Last a whole but use all of them back to back as packaging requires. Smell is there but not too bad. Not very toxic do not use on dogs with allergies.
