These completely covered my shoes and went high enough on the lower leg to keep bugs out of that area. I actually bought them to go over a 2X size full body Tyvek suit with attached feet so that I could wade into deep, thick foliage without fear. They never fell down or got in the way. I’m female and wear a large 9.5 double wide shoe because of failed foot surgery. It is needed because there are protruding bones in the bottom of my foot from failed foot surgery. (How do I feel about that surgeon? Cannot go barefoot anywhere.) Anyway, these are roomy covers that one of the reviews says that it fits their size 13 steel toe work shoes. I bought these covers to prolong the life of the Tyvek suits. But there was another reason for them. Years ago I used to train asbestos workers on how to suit up and go through decontamination. That included duct taping around the ankles to prevent tripping. The suits for asbestos were of course disposable, but these added boots have elastic around the ankles as well as at the top of them. They never slip down. So no need for duct tape there. They have held up very well. Seem very durable. And yes, they are waterproof.

Great product

I bought these to wear during an outdoor project, and although each pair was only worn for an afternoon they did not hold up very well for me while walking around on gravel. They were better than nothing and I appreciated having them to keep my shoes clean, but the longer I walked around the more I saw little shreds of the white material being left around in the driveway gravel which I had to later walk around and pick up. At the end of the day when I removed these to place in the trash, the bottoms were shredded and messy. I'm sure they work great on smooth, soft, or indoor surfaces. They just aren't made for walking around in a limestone gravel driveway all afternoon.

Knee high for midgets maybe...

I have the curse of big feet and struggled to find covers that fit my shoes. These fit my size 13 steel toe work shoes, and survived a day of work to the point they could be re-used multiple times without issues (so long as you aren't stepping constantly on sharp items). Good quality, and for those without clown shoes, they appear to be easy to adjust to fit smaller feet.
