The all new Vortex Professional is the second model in the Dievas Tactical series of watches. It is made in Germany and it has been designed for diving at depths of up to 500 meters. It features the reliable and time tested Swiss Made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, 44mm lightweight titanium case, hard matte black coating, uni-directional diver's bezel, protected crown at 8:00, an automatic helium release valve, drilled lugs with screw-in tubes, and a domed sapphire crystal with an inside anti-reflective coating. The entire stark white dial glows in the dark for superior low light visibility. The watch comes with Dievas leather packaging and a high quality leather strap with a really nice Dievas signed buckle. Case: Titanium, 44mm diameter, 14mm thick. I bought this watch in Dec 2011, liking the simpleclean look. I immediately changed out the watch band.I prefer and use the military nylon watch bands whichcome in various colors and are safer and very comfortable.Looks great with black, khaki green, sand, and int orangenylon bands. I rotate the colors around every 3 or 4days for fun and a different look. Dome crystal issafire and durable and the titanium case is rugged asI have banged it a couple of times already with novisible damage or scratches. To see how the watch ismade, go to the Dievas web site, its impressive. Fora mechanical movement, it keeps very good time, butas for all mechanical movements, does not keep as gooda time as a quartz movement. The stem location, at 8o'clock, took a bit getting used to, but not a problem.The stem is better protected at 8 vs 3 o'clock. All inall, after a week, I decided to keep the watch and Ilove it. I like the clean, classy look, but at the sametime it is not austentatious.
