My man loves this knife!
I bought this knife as a gift for Christmas and he’s a chef at a BBQ restaurant so he always uses high end knives and this was such a hit for him. He loved it and said its great weight and not too much on the wrist and its pretty sharp which makes cutting things super quick and easy! The handle isn’t too bulky, he says he loved how comfortable it feels in his hand. Super good quality for the price needless to say

Awesome
I got this because I love my Shun and Miyabi knives, and the way the bolster of this one is designed reminds me of them. I wanted something with a wide blade to transfer chopped vegetables to the pot. It is indeed shaving sharp out of the box. Heavy too, I was afraid it was going to arrive and be stamped thin steel, definitely not, you can feel the indentations, not sure if they are etched into the surface or actually part of a folding process, but if it is etched I am not mad, especially for the price. Looks like it dropped to $20 after I ordered it but it is worth at least $40. Also to be expected for the price- you can feel the change from the bolster to the handle, but it’s not aggregious, just not perfectly ground. If I had wanted perfect I would have paid for Shun, but I am very pleased with this decision.

Tough blade
This knife is a workhorse, it’s big, and sharp. The full tang and wood handle is a good fit in large hands. Keep it oiled, it’s carbon steel will last a lifetime

Ergonomics issue
No issues with the blade, about what I expected for the price. Although I’m not sure if I got a knife that their QA department missed but where the wooden part of the handle meets the metal part of the handle where my index finger touches is not flush and it’s sharp/jagged. I feel like I’m going to cut myself on the handle. Will likely return.
