I use the headset for calls and to chat with friends on Discord when Zwifting. Comfortable for long use as they use bone conduction and don’t sit on or in ear. Small boom mic is good and seems to cancel surrounding noise, focusing on my voice. Controls are a little fiddly but I don’t consider this to be a showstopper. They are quite expensive but good quality and do a really good job for a bluetooth headset. I wouldn’t recommend these if you primarily want to listen to music - they sound okay but are not intended for this as primary function. If you want them for calls or Discord/gaming use, they are great. Picked mine up in Black Friday deal saving 25% (c. £35).

I've already got Aftershokz trekz which are great, but when I got my new Samsung ZFlip3, I discovered that Samsung in their infinite wisdom, have decided to ditch the headphone socket. I use my phone all the time for working from home and need a headset so I can type & have pretty long conversations. I tried my Trekz but they sounded too hands free to clients, so after then trying an adaptor (unreliable connections, no matter which I tried - gave up after 2), I bit the bullet and got these. They're super comfy to wear all day, clear and the battery life is great too. Even better that I managed to get them when they'd dropped to £125.

Only just short of magic... bizarrely they seem to get louder when you put your fingers in your ears... Sound quality is OK, but not ideal for pumping bassy music, as they can 'buzz' at high volume levels, which is why a noisy car is not ideal. I also use mine connected to a PC (need a Bluetooth dongle) for speech recognition using Dragon, they work fine, and you can still hear what's going on around you. With a mobile, callers report the voice quality is always excellent, so the noise cancelling must work well! For me, the comfort is fine, in fact i usually forget I'm wearing it, even with my specs on.

These are great, good battery life, comfortable. Takes a little while to get used to can give you headache or motion sickness The down side is that they are not fully supported with Zoom etc, you still have to use the pc to unmute which is mildly annoying but forgivable

I rarely write reviews but this really deserves one. As someone who suffers ear infections often I needed a headset for work that didn't block air flow into the ear. I havnt had a painful ear infection since buying these months ago, and the quality of just amazing plus the case I'd extremely handy. The material is durable and flexible meaning they do not break easily. I have used them Monday -friday 9-5 for months and they are still like new!!

A great if expensive bit of kit. So comfortable can be used all day. Local conversation in the room is easy as the unit does not cover the ears. The battery life is good, but with time it will deteriorate and as there is no way I can see of replacing, inevitably I will have to throw them in a couple of years.

I’ve used this for a few years. It wasn’t cheap but it did at first appear to be a quality item however the microphone stopped working. I would now be very wary of this company. Inverness this product is out of the warranty period but it would’ve been nice to have received some help from them

I bought these so I could hear music while chatting on zoom calls with clients. They are excellent, you can hear crystal clear just like in ear or on ear headphones, people on the other end during calls cannot hear anything but your voice. I can't comment on music quality as I only use these for voice calls.

First off, I had no clue what I was getting into with bone conduction audio. It sounded gimmicky to be honest. However I was in the market for a headset to use for conference calls over webex, teams, zoom and the like. I specifically wanted something that I could still be situationally aware and be able to hear the sound of my own voice. I work in an office environment where people do come by the office to talk and I do want to know when someone is around me. The other issue is being able to hear myself. When I've used full coverage headsets or ones that are on both ears, I slowly get louder and louder to the point I'm nearly yelling. The looks I get from co-workers is not nice if looks could speak. I've also used the kind that only go over one ear with the microphone boom and the plantronics BT ones that hang over one ear. The former feels unbalanced on my head and I feel like I should be in a call center, while the latter falls off my ears (I have thin, weak ears). So I took a gamble on these which really paid off! First off they are not cheap, but I remember some of the first BT headsets weren't either. The fit is amazing. Very lightweight and doesn't feel like its squeezing your head. The hoop portion is awesome since its goes behind your head rather than over it. Bonus points for not dentin' my 'do! The transducers sit just right in front of your earholes and don't cover them at all. Fully aware of your surroundings at all times with no earhole fatigue. The boom mic is small and just goes as far as mid-cheek so I don't even see it in my field of vision. Now if you like me the first thing you are going to do is play music to see how they sound. You are not going to be super impressed. It can sounds a bit tinny with not a lot of base. The highs and mids sound really good though. However that is not the point of this headset, which is for communications. Call someone up and talk to them and they will sound perfectly clear and distinct. The other end of the call said I sounded perfect with no background noise. No issues with making out different speakers in multi person calls either. Now that doesn't mean you should not listen to music on these. I often do between calls. Bone conduction means your co-worker neighbors are not bothered by sound leakage. The open ear design does mean that base suffers however you can remedy this with earplugs. Test this out by plugging you ears with your fingers and you'll notice a huge change in base. Overall, these check all my boxes for two-way audio communication. Light, comfortable and great sounding; so far these have lasted me all day long on a single charge. Magnetic charger is nice, while the carry case is overly large. You could put full size headphones in that case. Definitely give yourself sometime to adjust to bone conduction audio as it is a bit jarring at first to be able to 'listen' thru your jawbone. I haven't had any issue with it other than some slight tickling when there is a track with heavy base in it and the transducer buzz against the sides of my head. Great headset!

J'utilise ce produit deux mois avec très grande satisfaction pour un usage professionnel quotidien sur smartphone et visio sur PC. La qualité du son est très bonne et bien supérieure à celle de mes écouteurs sans fil. Les vibrations chatouillent un peu les premiers jours puis on ne les sent plus. Casque vraiment léger et robuste. j'oublie que je l'ai sur moi et on peut facilement le mettre autour du cou. La qualité du SAV AfterShokz est réelle et réactive (besoin de refaire une facture et d'aide au fonctionnement). Ce casque a rendu ma vie professionnelle bcp plus confortable (plus besoin d'enlever et de remettre les écouteurs) - la batterie tient longtemps.

What an amazing little headset. Super light, and fits behind the head so that it doesn't mess up your hair (yes, it's important for us ladies). I was having issues with earbuds. I have highly sensitive ears, and I had earaches after wearing buds even for 10 minutes. My earaches would last for a few hours. My sister's Hearing Technician said she bought these for her husband for the same reason. She sent me the link, and I bought them right away! I received them in a few days! OMG! What a difference. I love these because I don't have to take them out every 2 seconds when someone else is talking to you, or you have to divert your attention somewhere else. They also pair up super fast, and they last 16 hours on a single charge! Can you say YAY??? :) :) I can hear great out of them, and my husband doesn't hear anything even while I'm sitting beside him on the couch! No more earaches.... YAY! I can't wait to try them in my car! LOVE THESE AND I CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH <3

I wasn't sure if AfterShokz OpenComm was going to meet my needs i.e. comfortable in wearing it for long hours, able to hear clearly whether it's me or the party on the other end of my call, and the longest duration each charge will hold or at least it should last me for a day with each charge. And to my pleasant surprise, it met all my needs and ticks all the boxes. I am really happy with it. However, there is just a small thing what I find annoying is switching from one call to another source such as a PC and back. I wish it had a switch or a button for me to just toggle between two calls so it is very straightforward. Anyway, in the absence of anything better that I have tried previously, I would still recommend this product to anyone looking for a wireless headset.

Eccezionali per l'homeworking, si attaccano a telefono e PC in contemporanea (una sola chiamata attiva per volta), microfono noise cancelling molto buono, le uniche che lo montano su una piccola asta che può essere alzata e abbassata, questo rende l'audio in chiamata drasticamente superiore rispetto alle altre cuffie, gli interlocutori sentono sempre la voce forte e chiara, ovviamente ci sono limiti, tutto dipende anche dalla quantità e dal tipo di rumore di fondo. A fine giornata zero affaticamento delle orecchie, leggerissime. Custodia sagomata per le cuffie e tasca per il cavetto di ricarica proprietario, molto pratica e necessaria per proteggere il prodotto durante il trasporto. La qualità dell'audio in ingresso è ottima considerando che sono a conduzione ossea. La batteria è praticamente eterna (2gg uso intensivo) ed è vero che con 5' di carica di aggiungono moltissimi minuti di call, forse non le due ore dichiarate ma ci andiamo vicino. Le rarissime disconnessioni, che potrebbero dipendere dal sw e non dalle cuffie, si risolvono con spengimento e riaccensione, operazione che si completa in totale in meno di 5". In sintesi insostituibile per lunghe call con audio forte e chiaro ma soprattutto che non lasciano affaticati.
