Careful Gardener Expandable Garden Hose, with Solid Brass Fitting, Triple Layer Latex Core and Extra Strong Fabric 50 75 100 150 feet - Black (150 Foot)

I've only used it once thus far. Noticed that it leaks pretty profusely from 2 places: first where the hose attaches to the connector and where the connector screws into the main spigot (attached to the house water supply). I put plumber's tape (thread sealing tape) on both ends of the connector and it still leaks a bit. When I turn the water off, a large spray of water occurs at the connector as the pressure in the hose decreases. Not sure if this is a design flaw or defective hose. Would anyone at Careful Gardner please comment on this? Thanks!

This seemed like a good idea at the time but the one I took delivery of had a noisy kink in the end that connects to the sprayer. Also, I found the water pressure to be abysmal in contrast to the 5/8 hose I intended to replace with this. I found the same water pressure issue to be true of a 25 foot “Commando” expandable hose. All in all I think these expandable hoses are a great alternative for gardening only, when water pressure is not the main concern.If you want a real hose, purchase NeverKink’s ¾ inch 100 ft. contractor hose, which provides great head pressure for your sprinkler and cleaning needs, OR if you want to water-board unruly backyard squirrels such as those in my yard (..and I’m not influenced by NeverKink in anyway).

When u stretch the hose out fully it starts to reduce water pressure.

i purchased this hose in september, and here it is june and the darn thing sprung several pin hole leaks that i could barely see. i kept getting sprayed and finally figured out why my pants leg was wet everytime i used the hose.its really expensive for only 9 months of use . never used anywhere but on my grass to give water to my chickens . I liked it cause it didnt freeze up at all in the winter since it drained completely when it water was shut off.

Nice and easy to use and wrap up. But the hose burst on me in less than a year, even after winter storage.

ZERO Stars.This 150 foot hose is nothing but garbage. The customer service? Nonexistent! Where's my replacement? What warranty?? I've contacted BOTH Simplistics Products and Careful Gardener TWICE now. How is it that there are TWO different email addresses for Careful Gardener? On their website, the email is [email protected]. Uh...spell-check? On the actual package, it's [email protected], which I assume should be the correct email. Then again, I haven't received a response from either one. There's a phone number too, but I'm not going to pay for any international calls to the U.K. If anyone wants to, knock yourself out! Here's the number on the package: +4428 3751 8833.This "premium quality" hose was rarely used. Maybe just once a week to spray down a parking lot. It doesn't maintain water pressure well and now there's a tear underneath the fitting. Water leaks from it. Absolutely useless. Waste of my money. I'm glad this hose is now 'unavailable' from Amazon. It's junk.

Works as advertised so far. Fittings are good quality and don't leak.
