Very Effective On My Skin
I have been using this product for many years. With daily use, you will see a noticeable change of your discoloration within one to two weeks. The scent took a bit of adjustment for me when I first started using this product; however, it's benefits far outweighed that simple inconvenience.Wonderful product.■ UPDATE:This new jar that I ordered is a bit different. I have attached a photo..The one which I had been using is the white and green label. The new one which I started using today is the one with the black and white label. It contains Shea Butter which (I must mention) makes the application smoother and less pasty than the other. The scent (also) is much better. Very pleasing indeed.I will update if the results are the same after a week or so.

Very disappointed
Since they reformulated this product which has been around for over fifty years previously with hydroquinone , it was an amazing product! Those days are gone. It’s not the same and it never will be as effective of a product. All good things come to an end.Sad but true.

The one star was correct. They did change the formula!
No what I wanted. They substituted Hexylresorcinol for Hydroquinone 2% Not the same at all...And if you look Hexylresorcinol it has nothing to do with fading. Hexylresorcinol is an organic compound with local anaesthetic, antiseptic, and anthelmintic properties. It is available for use topically on small skin infections, or as an ingredient in throat lozenges. It is marketed as S.T. 37 by Numark Laboratories, Inc.Formula: C12H18O2 But then there is this.....Hexylresorcinol is an alkylresorcinol (AR), a type of phenolic lipid, that can be found naturally in whole grain wheat and rye. In skincare, hexylresorcinol is known to function as a skin-brightening agent. It also possesses antioxidant, as well as astringent properties, that can contribute towards a more even tone complexion. By providing antioxidant protection, hexylresorcinol can help neutralize free radicals present in the environment. Studies show topical application of hexylresorcinol may play a role in defending against signs of skin aging (i.e, fine lines and wrinkles) and glycation- a non-enzymatic reaction that may negatively impact skin quality. In addition to its skin benefits, skincare products utilize hexylresorcinol due to its well-soluble nature. This makes hexylresorcinol a desirable ingredient to be implemented into skincare formulas, as well as mixed with other skin brigthening ingredients such as niacinamide. Concentrations of hexylresorcinol occur between 0.5%-1.0%, and can most often be found in creams and serums to provide effective skin-lightening results. 1Hexylresorcinol - Wikipedia
