This Iron rest/stand really worked out very well for my family. No complaints whatsoever.

My ironing board doesn't have the stand attachment for the iron when not in use. This stand is sturdy, doesn't slide and is perfect for placing the hot iron and not burning the cover!

Exactly what I needed to store my Iron in the closet without it it burning the floor. Its plastic but doesn't melt if the iron happens to be still warm or hot. Did not cost much ($7.00) and looks like it will last. Fits my normal size iron well. Keeps hot iron from touching other things in the closet and burning/melting them.

After years of watching my irons topple off the ironing board, falling onto the hardwood floor and putting dents in the floor and breaking the iron, I finally invested in this. So happy that I did.It just sits on the board... actually holds the iron upright when necessary... and works well when putting the iron downflat to adjust the article of clothing.Great purchase... very happy, problem solved, no more falling irons !!
