It gave me a warmer sound but the selmerLigature I use gives me more freedom in playing

I ordered this weeks ago and just got it USPS. Impatience lead me to buy a more expensive leather ligature to get it quicker. Needless to say I was set for a side-by-side comparison; $24 ligature vs $64 ligature.The result is that both perform well so far and I’m keeping both to use with my two mouthpieces. However if I chose just one, based on budgetary requirements only, I would definitely get the Rovner and not worry I’d missed out on the more expensive but equally as efficient Van Doreen leather ligature. Both hold the reed in place, have the easy single screw adjustment and look cool.
