The Very Best Of Dan Fogelberg

Dan Fogelberg is one of the best writers and performers out there. The quality of his music is just awesome. I wish I could say that for the quality of this particular cd. It is cheaply made and does not sound as good as most of the ads that I own. It lacks depth as well as presence.

Great CD. Beautiful selection of musical hits. Brought back many memories. My favorite song is Run for the Roses. Thank you.

A great album love his work. Dan should be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame.

It was just a masterpiece,everybody knows that. I got this CD just because of Amazon's worldwide stock. I'm from India. Seller is prompt,and there was no hussle to get it across the country.

Soulful and melodic is everything Dan Fogelberg is!

This is a pretty darn good collection of Dan Fogelberg's hits. But just 17 tracks leaves out so much of his great music. I was introduced to DF by "The Plan" and the "Souvenirs" album in the 70's and loved every track. i played the grooves off that album into the 80's. Years later I was thinking about DF again and found this "best of" album. If I could only have 17 of his songs these are a good selection. I might change out 2 songs for other selections: "Nether Lands" and "She Don't Look Back". I'm not sure which of his songs I'd choose to replace those if I could. I think the order of the songs is a little inscrutable. It does not seem particularly chronological or ordered by size of the hit. It's not a bad order of songs. Just leaves me wondering a little. I learned of Dan Fogelberg's passing in 2007 shortly after buying this CD in 2012. I'm sad he is not longer creating music but glad he was prolific while he was with us. I'm giving this "best of" collection 5 stars. I like all the songs and the seem a very good collections of his popular works. If you have no other Folgerberg albums and want an introduction this is probably a great starting point to explore his catalog of songs. I guess it's not surprise I'm giving "The Very Best Fo Dan Fogelberg" 5 stars. Hope this helps someone

Wunderbare Sammlung von vielen bekannten und herrlichen Songs von Dan Fogelberg. Für alle die gerne ruhige oder beschwingte Musik lieben, die sich nicht in der Vordergrund drängt aber eine sehr schöne und angenehme Atmosphäre zu schaffen hilft.

purtroppo l'ho conosciuto post mortem e per me è stata una vera scoperta, non è il solito chitarrista country, è qualcosa di diverso molto più avanti e con un occhiolino al soft rock. veramente un grande. penso che acquisterò anche altri cd.

Magnifico recopilatorio, salvo algún tema están todos los éxitos recogidos. Totalmente recomendable para iniciarse en la obra de este gran artista tristemente ya fallecido.
