Working well so far
UPDATE May 5, 2023: these remotes have continued to work great and have fully met my expectations. Havenโt had to change the battery on any of them yet. โ- June 2, 2021: Pretty happy with it so far. Installed a couple of these sets over the last 2 days. One was installed in an exterior soffit outlet that controls fairy lights. Another was installed to control a door motion sensor light on an exterior garage. They did wire in easily (I had help from a family member knowledgeable with electrical wiring), and the controller fit well into standard old work boxes. Controller works fine even though my older home (1940's) has most circuits with no neutral wire. Remote switch range was tested at probably 25 feet from inside of my house, and worked reliably with no problems. You can hear a quiet "click" when the little relay in the controller switches on or off. The switches themselves are as quiet (or quieter) Pros: 1. Affordable: 2 remotes + controller 2. Quite easy to install, even in a house that has less-than-optimal electrical wiring 3. Remotes already paired to controller 4. Additional remotes can be paired to the controller if necessary Cons: 1. The remote switch plate can't really be mounted in a standard outdoor waterproof box. I thought I might be able to grind the outside to make it fit, but it's too large, and the battery would get in the way...would take waaaay too much customization. Would be really great if they made a lower-profile version that would actually fit inside a Decora switch space. 2. The switch itself works a little different standard Decora rocker switch. Clicking the top part of the rocker turns "ON", clicking bottom part of rocker turns "OFF". You also don't get the tactile feel of the switch being on or off; you have to check whether the light is on or off. 3. IIRC this was not compatible for one of my applications (a 2-wire dimmer circuit in my dining room); this is minor, because I didn't expect this one to work with a 2-wire dimmer circuit. Had to buy a different and significantly more expensive product (4x the price!) I give the product 5 stars for now, and will revise in 12 months or so, based on the reliability and performance of the device. Will be interesting to see how long the switch battery lasts.

Works fine
This item works fine, and solved a problem for me. The house we just bought does not have a 3-way switch at the top and the bottom of the stairway to upstairs. By law, it's supposed to. And, there is a functioning switch at the top. But the switch at the bottom did not function, for a simple reason...they never ran any wires to that switch! The house was built in 2006, and somehow the inspectors never caught that problem, and no one fixed it It's almost impossible to run actual wires now without major sheetrock removal. This wireless unit solved the problem for me, and works fine.

Easy install but
Easy install, but doesnโt consistently turn off. It always turns on the first try, but many times takes 3 or more pushes to turn off

Nice way to add 3 way or more control without new electrical work.
If you are at all comfortable with electricity, the wiring of the 'receiver' in an electrical box or ceiling fan is straight forward and adequately explained. First, of course, turn off circuit at breaker, verify, and then make your connections. The reciever is a small box with 4 wires, two neutral (tpyically white in most house wiring) and one lead for power source (120v) and one lead for the 'load' or device to be controlled. The wire colors on the receiver do not match these colors, so you need to read the label on the box to confirm your proper connections. If your switch box is really crowded with wires, putting the receiver in the box may be a bit of a struggle, but we did several and always managed to get it to fit. Simple case: one way switch for ceiling light: receiver is installed in electric box behind the original light switch, the original switch is replaced with the new 'transmitter' switch which is mounted on the existing wall box, job done!. If you have a second transmitter switch you can put is anywhere (wall mounting hardware included). Note this will not work easily on a multigang box since the switch is a self contained Decora style swith and built in cover. (You can mount any of the controlling 'transmitters' pretty much anywhere and coule even leave the original switch ain the box and add the transmitter after the switch, as a kind of master control. The system is very flexible and if you are reasonably electrically minded, you can even replace three way normal switches with four way and more. The transmitter can be installed, for example, in a ceiling fan canapy, to control the light separately from the fan, Again, you need to be reasonably comfortable with how ceiling fans are wired, power at ceiling fixture, v, power at wall switch, two wire v three wire, etc. Also note, you can not integrate dimming or motor speed in the basic system unless the dimming and/or motor speed controls come after your new 'receiver'. Extra switches and outlet controllers can be added, and programmed to work with the same transmitter. Each purchased set is pre programmed to for the transmitter switches to work with the supplied receiver. If you buy two sets, for example, to use in diferent rooms, no problem of conflict. But you can also reprogram them all to work with the same switches. We had a little trouble with the cryptic instructions re programming, but got quick help from the vendor. Also, we did not test the distance claim since all our uses were within a single room. We had some issue with line of sight but behind furniture failure to always work, but minor adjustments in location of switch, or receiver seemed to solve the problem. Switches use 12 v batteries which retail for about $1, we do not know how long they will last, but the battery is only used when the switch is pressed on or off, so it should be a long time. We like this inexpensive way to improve lighting control convenience at a good price.

Instant on. easy installation
works great with simple hookup. instant on without any delay like some others i installed. wall switch only require a very light push to turn on and off. you have to remember that so as not to cause it to break in the long run if you constantly whack it hard when turning on and off

Poor remote signal
Switch only works when it wants to, worked fine for a week or so now you have to hit the switch 20 times for it to turn off and it's only 2 feet from the receiver. Poor quality, stay away

Not a Great Product!
I had been looking for a remote light switch for my bedroom where the light switch in a weird spot in the middle of the wall across from the door. I knew it would be a tight fit in the junction box and this one was the smallest I could find so purchased it. What a mistake! The package and box it came in were fine, but upon opening the box, I immediately knew this was not a new product. The coating on the wires to the receiver module had coating missing and the wires were frayed and twisted. Also, one of the wires was bent in a really awkward way that didn't give me much confidence this would even work. Regardless, I installed it and then went to use the remote switch to give it a test. The battery that was supposed to be included was not(in fact) included. I had to run to the store to get a battery to use the product I paid for that was supposed to have a battery included. I got the battery in the remote and it does work, but there's a button on the receiver module that sticks out and when long-pressed it resets the receiver and remote switch. Why wouldn't it be like a standard recessed reset button? I don't know, but this little button when shoving the module in with all the wire nuts and other wire, apparently keeps getting pressed and I'm guessing that's causing the remote switch to work, intermittently. Or it's just a piece of crap and thats' how it works. Either way, I'm very dissatisfied. I have had to hit the on side of the toggle multiple times to get it to turn the light on and same with turning it off. Sometimes, it's right away but then other times, it takes 4 or 5 taps of it to get it to work. Just be aware when ordering this product, it may not work correctly and it may not include what it says it will include. Now, I will go spend more money to buy something else that hopefully works much better. Update: I was sent a replacement device that was clearly in better condition, battery included, etc... I carefully replaced the bad one with new one. I've spent a couple days testing it out and I'd say it still doesn't work well. It still takes multiple taps on the buttons to get it to turn off or on. It is slightly better, but I'd still say less than ideal. And the distance between the remote and the module is about 7 or 8 feet, well within the 100 foot range. I'm updating my review to 3 stars based on the seller actively reaching out to remedy the situation and a new product being sent, but I'd still say this is not the solution I had hoped for based on product description.

Works perfectly!
I replaced a closet light on a pull chain with a chandelier. Hence, there was no wall switch to turn the chandelier on or off, so I installed this little unit. The controller box fits nicely in the junction box, and the portable wall switch fits nicely inside the closet on a wall. Now it's real easy to open the closet doors and just touch the light switch and have the chandelier light up beautifully. Very happy with this purchase. Works exactly as described. Highly recommend.
