PET-CSB10 Outdoor Ultrasonic Bark Control Dog Trainer

I am amazed at all the rave reviews for this product. I have tested this product on many types of dogs as I was hoping that it would work for me and others. Unfortunately, after using it with large, medium and small dogs, these devices do not really work. They either work for a very short time as it is a novel event for the dog and then loses its ability to catch the dog's attention or it simply does not garner any attention at all.For those wondering, this product runs on a 9 volt battery. It will create that sound that this is supposed to make and it will change light colors to show that it is indeed working. Actually, you can hear the sound especially on the high setting and it is PAINFUL to hear. It states that it is not discernible to human ears but it is. If you have good ears, you will need to be away from this product when in use if set on high. And if you run this product continually, you can expect only about two weeks of use on one 9 volt battery. By the way, once the battery goes down to a certain level, even though it is still good, it will not even tickle the ears of dogs. It has to be a new battery each time with a full charge.One interesting thing about this device is that it is actually is being sold for a very high price here on Amazon. If you go on that auction website, you can get this in their unbranded version for less than half WITH shipping! These devices are actually made in China and are re-branded by sellers. Now, I find that really sneaky as these can be sold on many pages on Amazon as you can see here. But they are all the same device just with a different brand name. If you as a consumer do not pay attention, you will end up paying way more than you should for this device.Although I have yet to find a dog that will respond to this device in the way it is intended I can see that it may work for others. But I have tested this on many dog breeds and sizes and have had no luck with it. Odds are you may end up with a very expensive fake birdhouse if you buy this product here on Amazon. If you really have to try this product, at least buy it from a seller that is not pricing the item way over its market value.

Good concept, but the one I purchased had no effect whatsoever on the neighbors dogs no matter what setting used. Very disappointed and wouldn't purchase another.

After researching I decided on this product. I am very disappointed and feel it was a real waste of money. It simply does not work!
