If you are on the fence about buying this drum, hop right off and get your wallet out. The craftsmanship of this drum versus an earlier drum I purchased from Amazon almost don't even compare in terms of quality. This thing is so clean and crisp and makes the nicest sounds; I really am impressed! Best $100 investment I ever made.

Lightweight, weatherproof, mechanically tuned.
Drum works out of the box. I will be swapping the synthetic skin for a natural skin if/when it fails. The feedback/feel/sound of the natural skin is better IMO. Still a very good drum especially for children although fully suitable for an adult as well.

This drum is my favorite drum to bring to the monthly drum circles on the beach ..it got a terrific bass and puts up with the sand ..plus the size is just perfect ..easy to tune ...nice clean look ...

A good drum
Took it to class today and it was a huge hit, excuse the pun. My tutor tuned it for me. It made a good noise even next to his Remo synthetic drum. So I’m very pleased with it. My first drum. It would be nice to have had info on how to tune it though. It’s a great sounding drum. It’s lightweight and one of my fellow students is going to buy the same now that she has tried mine out. Perfect for ladies who don’t want a big heavy drum but want a good solid sound.
