This case is awesome. love the grippy texture, and the fact that I can keep my stylus on my phone. One downside, is that the grippiness of the material, makes it a little hard to slip in and out of your pocket. But considering that I wanted something with that hand feel, it's fine. I've dropped my phone a few times, and the case did a good job protecting my phone. While I think you'd still not want to drop it on a hard, uneven surface, screen down (no case will save your phone there) this thing provides a good amount of drop protection. Its a very nice mixture of bouncy, and rigid, so will absorb shock without feeling flimsy. I think the case also looks great! I didn't want anything flashy. This is a very elegant looking design without any goofy looking accents. Very much looks and feels like something you would spend a lot more money on at a phone store.Update: After over a year of use, the outer layer of rubber on the top corner is starting to de-laminate a bit. It's not bad, and I have used and abused this case every day. So, I don't at all feel like this isn't the type of wear I would expect...especially at the price. Very worth the money. If it gets bad enough that it bothers me, I would happily buy another one of these. Although I doubt the case won't outlast my phone.

After a few years of use my Samsung case began to come apart near the charging port. This area is a weak spot as there's no reinforcement for a thin strip of rubber that spans the gap. I was unhappy that a new OEM case would cost $69, but found this one. It's almost indistinguishable from the OEM case - it holds the phone and stylus securely. It's too soon to evaluate its durability, but my guess is that it will last as long as I keep the phone. Solid value.

So bottom line, I paid more than double for the Samsung case when I got my phone for with the stylus. The problem has always been the case is so rubbery, it doesn't slide in your pocket. I have had it hanging out my back jean pocket for almost a year and I hated it. The biggest flaw is probably the thin piece around the charging port, which is what ultimately failed on my original case.Bottom line, this looks identical to the Samsung case (it even says SAMSUNG on the back), but it is made of a TPU type material so it slides in and out of your pocket easily, yet feels good in your hand.

When I initially got this case, I really really wanted to use this case because it felt really nice in my hands. It's smooth, soft, yet grippy. Compared to the other cases that have a s pen holder were more on the hard, smoother plastic side, and grip was very important to me so it doesn't fly out of my hands and makes it easier to use with one hand.What turned me off about this case was that it picked up dust like crazy. I'd constantly be rubbing at it to sweep off the dust/lint that's all over the silicone case. After over a month of use, the dust isn't as super bad but it's still there.Also after about a month of daily use, I found the silicone coating to be rubbing off parts of the case. In ny case, it's worn on the upper back side of the phone, with extra wear on the corner by the cameras. I'm not sure what could be causing this because I've not dropped my phone or slid it across anything. But I do shove my phone in and out of my back pockets a lot so maybe it has something to do with that.There is a hard plastic surface beneath the silicone layer to give it more protection most likely. The only exception would be the bottom mid/right of the phone where the USB and speaker is located; it's just thin soft layer of silicone without any hardness behind it except for your phone itself. I imagine it wouldn't be very protected in these areas should your phone drop against that bottom edge.I could switch to another case but I still haven't because I love how the phone still feels because it's not worn at all where I would be touching the phone normally. Still using it now as I type out this review lol

The case itself is sleek and comfortable, I tried to insert the pen into the slot and it just doesn't fit. I do own the proper pen for the slot so I'm not sure If mabe the mold of min is alittle short but I've tried a few times and it won't insert. That aside though very sleek case and comfortable to hold.

This case was 98% identical to the original samsung case. The only difference was the top of the pen release. Which really doesn't provide any removal or install difference. Ecellent oem replacement.

The case dont even make it a year before it's peeling with cracks and break on one of the edges and i gave it a real try i even brought it twice and got the same results smmfh!!!!
