I used these pins to work on quilts. The longer length of the pins makes it easy to use and see while pinning quilt fabric

These are very sharp and thin and fabulous for pinning quilt pieces together. They do bend easily but it is because they are thin and thin and sharp is the best reason to buy them .

I would still recommend, but I did receive one pin that was bent, but that's still a good ratio when comparing the ones that were fine. I don't know how it missed quality control though as it was bent into an "L" shape - literally too difficult to not miss.

Quilting

I found these pins quite thick! I wouldn't use it for piecing for quilting.

I'm a quilter and these are my 'go to' pins for sewing. The steel shaft glides easily into the fabric and the tip never dulls. The glass heads can be ironed over and does not melt. They are expensive, but worth it.

I don't quilt but I sew clothes and I need thin but long pins. These are the perfect pins for that use. I bought two boxes and I will be buying more. I teach sewing and I want all students to have these pins in their pin cushions.
