Will the CB filter go bad if we get it 6-month in advance to be ready for replacement?

Will this work in my Culligan aquasense tankless system as well the filter looks the same?

I just replaced the cb filter on my water drop system and now the blue ring is flashing and tds is not displayed. how do i fix?

What is the difference between the two filters on this page? They seem like the same filters just different prices. Am I wrong?

Not sure I am seeing the same filter picture you are. When I click on the photo it shows two distinct filters, 1 CB or Carbon filter and one R.O. filter which is the Reverse osmosis filter. The G3 R.O. system uses three filters that all have different jobs in order to deliver clean, great tasting water at a reasonable per gallon price.
