Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art

I used this to explain much of modern art history to my ten year old before a trip to MOMA. This was extremely helpful, especially when used with Understanding Modern Art (An Usborne Introduction) by Cook, J. (Cook's book was excellent, and a good place to start) and What Are You Looking At?: The Surprising, Shocking, and Sometimes Strange Story of 150 Years of Modern Art by Gompertz and ...isms: Understanding Modern Art ... by Sam Phillips. These four books can be very helpful and made our trip to MOMA very successful and enjoyable.

Visited the museum back in the fall of 2015. This book is more expensive there and would have weighed my suitcase down. Was happy to find it on here. Exactly the same book. Very nice addition to my art book collection.

Made a good gift, ... it's more than I initially was planning to spend on it :-(, so I do consider it rather expensive, but I had no time to consider other sources

This book was used, but you would have never known it. Great price and delivered as expected.

High-quality photos. Well-written text. A great memento from the MOMA!

Small reproductions and a rather banal presentation with rather too many uninteresting works. Also overpriced.
