Worked Perfect - Well Made
I was a little concerned since about 20% of the views were less than stellar, but the other 80% had it right. This is very heavy and seems well made. The design for attaching the center bit is solid. After assembly and loading in the drill press, it spun true - a good start. I used this to cut thru 1/8" Aluminum. **Use a high quality cutting oil and take little bites adding a oil as you go.** It did a perfect, clean cut - did not jam - NO broken teeth. I can't speak to how long it will last - but with proper use, I'm not expecting any issues from this first project.

Nice hole saw
Nice quality hole saw. Liked that it came with two pilot drills and Allen wrench.

One tough hole saw
I’ve. Been cutting holes for lights with this. It works great. Just go slow and it will behave. It is really heavy so let you drill cool down some if doing a lot of cutting.

Good customer service
Update: I actually was able to complete my immediate task with only 2 teeth left. That alone is impressive. The seller sent a replacement whole saw immediately after I messaged them about my issue. Haven’t had a chance to use the replacement, but they stood behind their product and I can respect that. I’ll leave my existing info below for context.I liked the packaging of the product despite it delivering a day late. No big deal. However, I only got two holes cut before 4 out of 6 of the cutting teeth got ripped off. Initially I was using my drill press, but the belt kept slipping before it really could grab material and cut so I moved to my cordless drill. I was able to apply more pressure and cut much more effectively while dunking then it into antifreeze every 5 seconds of cutting to make sure the temps never got too hot. I also used engine oil as cutting lube to try and make this hole saw last as long as possible. Despite that, 4 out of 6 teeth broke off before even completing my third hole.I know how to drill holes! I was an Aircraft Assembly Mechanic for a few years and Ido lots of fabrication work. Super bummed because now my project is put on hold dude to not being able to drill the holes I need. Going to see if the seller with help me out. If they do I’ll up the review.

Much better than I expected
I purchased this to drill a 2 holes in 4 inch channel iron to insert a light. Using only a cordless drill this put the holes in 1/4 inch steel without an issue. Drilled the big hole almost as fast as the pilot hole, stopping a few times to clean the carbide teeth and apply a little oil. It made perfect holes without any complaints.

As good as it gets
I bought this hole saw to make an instrument panel. I drilled 10 holes in a sheet steel panel and the last hole was as good as the first and the holes were sized perfectly. Looks like it will hold up for a long time, just remember to keep the speed down and don't press to hard.

Second time’s the charm
The carbide teeth on this hole saw indeed look to be welded on, with keenly sharpened edges, and not just stamped out of the cylinder the way they are on cheaper hole saws (first photo). But it’s important to make sure that the center drill bit, which comes unassembled, seats all the way into the collet, so that the set screw fully engages with the flat on the drill shaft. This requires removing the set screw and visually verifying the entire drill shaft flat is is visible in the set screw hole (see second photo). My first unit had some unremoveable metal debris in this hole, so that only a small fraction of the flat was visible. As a result, the set screw couldn’t properly secure the bit. This resulted in vibration that destroyed the carbide teeth after drilling one hole in 1/4” mild steel. I complained to the seller and they promptly shipped a replacement bit, which is what you see in these pictures. It works perfectly now, well worth the price.

Successfully cut AR400 plate steel
I needed to cut some AR400 plate steel. these cutters, while not the best quality, did the job. I was able to cut 4 holes at 2" diameter in 3/4" thick steel. Chip evacuation is rather poor, so i had to retract the cutter often to clear chips. And i used plenty of cutting oil to give the cutter a fighting chance. After these four holes, the teeth on the cutter are very worn, and i don't think it will cut one more hole.

Correspond bien aux prétentions (coupé metal)
Coupe parfaitement bien une plaque en inox de 3mm. Plusieurs fois de suite. Et l'outil reste affûté. C'est top!
