I love these books. I have to stop reading to laugh!! Good mystery and detective work, but as an 83 year old reader I can relate to Alberts feelings! Over all great reads, creative plots, and to top them off, NO offensive language to spoil the story line! Big thank you to the author!!

Kate is arrested and she put her dog Han in Alberta hands. At first Han and Rex did not get along. Albert decided to stay and to try to find the actual killers that Kate is accused of. Lots of rain and kidnapping. A great read

Mr Smith finds more trouble than the law allows!! However, he also seems to be proactive in figuring out who, what, when and where things will be happening!! He says he’s old. His children tell him he is old. However, he is still very smart and interested in what is going on!! Brave is what I call him!!!

Albert and Rex are in the thick of it again.Lots of adventure for a culinary tour of the countryside, and he still got to bake his clanger!If you are looking for a fun, fast paced read grab this one and enjoy.

This is a fun series because in addition to a light “who done it” you get interesting background on English historical culture and the food history that goes with it. Plus you get the recipes and directions to make the food. I like reading them in between the heavy fiction and non fiction books. Also being a dog person it can be very funny to read the dogs take on human activity.

I enjoy the series because se they are easy reading but not “down pat”. There is usually a twist that I didn’t expect and would keep me thinking. I glad the ole boy is finally learning how to read his dog. That he seemed to know nothing about a dog was a surprise when I started the series.

Seriously entertaining stories! I’ve read 3 or so of Albert smith’s adventures and I can’t put them down. Rex is a great dog and makes me laugh. Read these books.

Brilliant Storylines well written with lots of twists and turns.It's full of intrigue too. I love the way that Albert and his dog Rex acquire another dog to help them out. Honestly if you want an amazing read add this to your collection you won't regret doing so trust me. Again I didn't want to put this one down either. Thanks again Steve for yet another inspirational book to read.

Well again a brilliant book couldn’t put it down really enjoy Rex and Albert following the adventure and liked you brought another dog in Hans the sausage dog hope they meet up again x

I really enjoy the way Albert solves the crime with the help of Rex the former police dog.A great tale and plenty of laughs along the way.

I'm loving these books they are easy reading perfect for a feel good read to relax with and I love Red the ex police dog
