Thought i was purchasing a free soldier tarp as per ad. This does not appear to be a free soldier tarp. Will try it out for now but am getting tired of the false advertising on Amazon.

I just received this today and checked immediately. And, I really enjoyed. The material quality is really good as advertised and also very light weight. I will definitely go for another buy for this item as well. Highly recommended for others also.

The tarp works great in certain situations but the lack of tie-off points makes it tough to use in situations where the size is just too much. More tie off points along the body would make this much more versatile where the tarp could be folded and reduced without giving up the edge anchor points. I would also suggest a bundle of higher quality paracord instead of individual lengths. This would allow campers to cut the paracord to shorter or longer lengths If needed.Overall I feel the tarp is excellent in quality and weight. The stitching only had a couple of small loose threads that were not going to pull and create a bigger problem. The pegs provided are also of good quality but would be better with 2-4 more.Pros: great material, low weight, well madeCons: tough to use in compact areas, thin / not enough paracord, few tie off points.(My fix for the lack of tie offs is to use a rock wrapped in the tarp to grab onto the cordage for anyone who has the same issue)

Not bad tarp, but looks like it was treated only on one side? One side got soaked, the other one not?
