Excellent for the right usage scenario
I really like this kit. It's very light, it's very portable, it comes from a reputable brand, and it has all the things you'd want for a short duration, single rider first aid kit. Since it's designed for cyclists, it has a lot of things other quality lightweight kits don't, stuff that I feel more confident having with me in my handlebar bag.Just be aware that the supplies in here are limited. It's a great kit for a solo commuter. It's a great kit for a solo short distance or ultralight bike tour. More people or longer distances, though, and you might want some more supplies. And if you're going to use this as a starting point, and plan to beef it up with extra stuff, realize that this thing is really designed for portability. Can't really stuff much more into the bag. So you'd need a bigger drybag of some kind.

The kit includes a manual with a quick reference in table format that I imagine would be very easy to follow in case of emergenc
This is a thoughtfully prepared kit, which is especially appropriate for bike-related injuries. It isn't your standard package of band aids and neosporin. The materials are high quality and just the right quantities. It even includes things I didn't think of such as medicine for an allergic reaction, syringe for removing foreign matter from a wound, and a telfa wound-stop bandage. The kit includes a manual with a quick reference in table format that I imagine would be very easy to follow in case of emergency. It fits comfortably in a standard jersey pocket. The bag it comes in is a durable ziplock-type - waterproof and strong. It is a good value- to assemble the same materials at this level of quality would cost more. I bought one for each of my biking friends.

Kit helped save the day
I was motivated to buy the first Aid kit when I was cycling and came upon someone who had crashed. The person was bleeding and I did not have anything to render first aid. Fortunately a friend of the cyclist was a Doctor and was able to come and help, but even a Doctor needs supplies. My son is a cyclist and an ER doctor and I showed him the kit. He went through it and thought is was adequate to get you home, which is the objective of a first aid kit. The same day we went on a hike. My wife was distracted and did not notice an object on the trail, she fell and scraped her hands. We used the antibiotic ointment which gave some comfort until we got home. I was pleased that I had gone back to get the kit when we left for the hike.I like the fact that the kit is small enough for a jersey pocket, and equipped well enough for the injuries that might be encountered in a crash. I recommend going through the kit to see what is there before you need it.

First aid for Cyclists, every rider should have one
Seems adequate for the purpose, luckily we have not had to use it yet.

perfect for the job
We bought 2 of these 1 for each bike - Nice and compact It's the perfect size and can be stored on the bikes - We've not had to use them yet and hopefully won't have to. We bought them as the result of a recent injury while biking and wished we'd had it. I recommend you add large band-aid like waterproof dressing (we added 2 large Tegaderm adhesive dressing - from the Nexcare brand - they fit perfectly in the kit as they are flat) and 2 alcohol wipes the kind in the tiny pkgs so you can clean your hands afterwards especially if you are in areas with no services -

Everything you need and nothing more
This kit is the most concise, compact and thorough one I've seen. It has what you need for frequently encountered outdoor minor first aid needs. It even has an extra tampon, one of the most effective ways to absorb blood when treating a wound (I thought I was the only one who knew that trick). Toss one in the glove box of your car, another in your day pack and a third in the vanity drawer, then you won't have to wonder whether you have the right stuff on hand should you need it. And I really like the zipbag with the clear front that holds all the materials. It has a little extra room for you to include your own special items. Nice.

Makes me want to crash right now.
This Hero Kit is a great gift for your cycling pals. Really thoughtfully put together. Definitely beats buying a bunch of stuff a la carte, and othrr pre-assembled kits that have too much of what you'll never use and not enough of what you will. Well done.

Good kit, but much cheaper to assemble your own.
Expensive for what you get.
