This is a brilliant little starter truck for any young or old beginner. Out of the box I was pleasantly surprised on how well built and scale looking it is. The battery does take a little too long to charge but then it lasts well into 2hrs of use. The thing to remember ith this is no crawler or tough runner although built brilliantly it doesn't have the power to do much more than walk in a woods. That's not to say its no good at getting up and over objects it can and has slow and fast control in doing so. Over all my son loves it and wants to see what upgrades we can do to make it a little better on the tough stuff.

After a few drives out, this stopped working and I had a mechanic look at it. The differential is completely burnt out and it will not work. yes it has been off road, but it is advertised as such and it hasn't been 'that' off road. This is completely disappointing and I can't figure out how to contact them about it. I would not purchase this again.

Poor quality compared to other RC cars in same price bracket. I feel the manufacturer’s should up grade the vehicular with metal components as a basic to offer it at the price level, poor control function also needs upgraded. Potty as body and detail is very good.

Bought this for my little boy for Christmas. Was on second charge and lost drive when on the ground, but wheels turned when holding it in the air. Plastic part in the transfer case has broken so it is basically useless, one very disappointed little boy.

Good for the beginner. Better than toy grade. Low end of hobby grade. Perfect value and usability for someone wanting more than Walmart toy but not ready to spend hundreds on higher end. Does have proportional speed and steering but not consistent through its range. So at slow speeds, it's a bit "jerky". Would be nice if the turning radius were tighter especially at low speeds. Top heavy too (flips over a lot when rock crawling). They must have made some LED improvements as many complain the lights only come on with throttle. Mine however are always on which is nice (more realistic). Too bad there are no rear lights. The MN99 "S" (the silver/black version) does have rear tail lights, reverse lights and turn signals !!!!). In my opinion this model looks great too. Nice job on the details and body. Battery life is great for decent play time! Over all I love it. Well worth the price. Looks great, operates great, versatile (floor, grass, wood chips, rocks, stones, sticks, etc.). I will add some weigh to the bottom to lower centre of gravity and shorten the travel in the shock springs as the truck is a bit too bouncy. Other than that, it's great as is. Another nice thing is this truck has several upgrade options for those who want to tinker so you can make it a decent hobby grade or just play as it is.If you are thinking of this, buying from Sandy's Shop is the cheapest around and the only one I know of that is fulfilled by Amazon. Therefore it aint coming from China with unknown arrival (weeks or months). I am just outside Toronto and got this the next day, literally! And was free shipping with prime. However, all the different colours available are listed as MN99 but I think only the light blue and silver are. The red and other colours are MN90 which are previous models and 180 (or 160) motors. The MN99 are 240. Do your research and make sure you get the MN99 with larger motor
