Great!
I recently bought a GVM (Great Video Maker) LED Ring Light for taking 4k video while documenting old dark buildings. The LED ring has the phone holder dead center which does not work with a large phone like a Samsung Galaxy Ultra as it presses the power button so I needed to make a custom mount. This Arca Swiss Plate in combination with a Manfrotto Universal Smartphone Clamp worked absolutely perfectly to move the holder over to better suite my needs with a large phone. It's very sturdy and holds everything secure. I highly recommend.

Great plate at a great price
It functions as it should, and the fit and finish is better than what I would expect at this price point.

Good product at a great price.
This Arca Swiss compatible long lens plate is a well made product at a very good price. I wanted to try a longer version than the 150mm I have and this turned out to be a great choice. The easy to use screws are captive but removable without tools and have a combination fold over bail or a coin sized slot to tighten and loosen them. Nice to have the options provided by the 3/8-16 stud in the center and two 1/4-20 adjustable studs in slots at each end. Nicely machined, polished and finished aluminum. It is now mounted to my 100-400 Cannon lens / Canon 5D combo and will go to Yellowstone with us in a few weeks. I have tried it with my gimbal tripod head and am very pleased with it.

Works
If you need a long plate and you want a cheap one, this is it. The downside is that the metal on top is excessively slippery, and the no-slip rubber is a hard rubber that is also a bit slippery. So if you have a shoulder video rig or something like that, no problem. I'm using on top of a camera ballhead, and so when I turn the camera on the ballhead, the camera unscrews from the plate. There are various ways to fix this, for example with a thin piece of foam between the camera and plate, so it isn't a big deal. And is to be expected for the price.

It’s good. Didn’t like how it slides around in my tripod, came up with a solution for it
So I bought a 600mm camera for wildlife photography, I also bought a tripod and gimbal and this. The only problem I saw with this platform and my heavy lens was that the plat moves around when locked in place on the tripod and there was no way to make it not slide around. The platform has little screws at the the ends of it but because of how heavy my lens is I could see those screws being useless to stop it. I did come up with a solution to keep the platform from sliding around and was to buy grip tape and tape the button of the platform up. I taped it up in a way that I could still access the screws and it worked out very well.

200mm Lens Plate - Someone will eventually have to make a good cheap one of these.
It's a piece of milled aluminum, why can no one get this right for less than $40? The technological challenges are zero and it doesn't even need to be particularly precisely made. If you go to a place/website like BH they have plates that start to approach the price of prime lenses. That being said, the market is what it is, and with a lack of better options at this price point this is an OK product. The Good - I love the versatility length of the 200mm plate. You can use it to attach two cameras (or any other pieces of gear) to a single tripod since it comes with two 1/4" screws. - You can also use the length to make a pseudo video tripod. Just attach it so that almost the whole length sticks out behind the camera and you've turned a photo tripod head into a cheap video head. I’ve attached a picture showing this - You can balance almost any telephoto lens plus camera setup without a tripod collar. I’ve attached a picture of this too. - I like the tabs on the screws which mean you can tighten them without tools. The Bad - The furthest screw slots are unusable because the screw heads hit a piece of the plate and can't be tightened. I’ve tried to show this in one of my pictures. - The plate came with few dings and dents. This does not bode well for the overall construction quality. - The rubber pads are not of high quality. They are more of a hard plastic than the grippy stuff found on higher quality plates. - The screws are very loosely held into the plate when not attached to a piece of equipment. Honestly, you have to be a bit careful that they don't fall out while you are carrying it around. In conclusion, I'm disappointed with the quality of this piece of equipment but I'm not aware of a better alternative. It functions well enough and is a cheap and versatile tool.Photos taken of the 200mm lens plate and a Cannon Rebel SL1.

20+ days late
Ordered on 9/26/23. Arrived 10/21/23. Delivery time kept changing with another week added. Would not let me cancel. Wasn't even asked if I wanted to cancel and order something else. Otherwise, just perfect for my needs. I will think twice about reordering from this seller again.
