Not as firm fit as i wanted

I'm not sure why there are two different designs of each type of these connector clips, or why some are green, and others are ugly black.Both of the connector designs do exactly the same job, but the one that allows you to adjust the angle, is more versatile, and much less prone to breaking.The same applies to the black ones, that connect the top of two plastic garden stakes, to make an inverted 'V'. One lets you connect a horizontal stake, at the top, and the other one doesn't. Consequently, I have some left over, that I will never be able to use.It must be easier and cheaper to manufacture one design of each type, and at the same time, make the kit much more versatile, for the customer.They were all a very tight fit on my 11mm plastic garden stakes, which have short raised ribs along their length. So I would recommend either doing this when the weather is warm, or use a jar of very warm water, to soften slightly them; especially the inline tubes. Once assembled, the tight fit will work in your favour.

I initially bought these great additions to go with the 16 mm green metal canes to make an A frame for my beans. They do need a good push onto the canes which I did find tricky to do and it helps to have an assistant and a ladder to create a sturdy A frame. I have also used them to create a frame for my strawberry netting by attaching the pole holders and placing more poles horizontally then popping the netting over. I can’t rate these highly enough. The cane holders have 2 parts which attach to one pole and can then be rotated horizontally to attach to the second pole. Only your imagination can stop you creating frames for your garden.

These clips make the accompanying sturdy stakes very easy to arrange to support plants, and can be reused year on year.

Great product an connectiveity.

The only item that fits is the clips, the 11 mm stakes do not fit into most of the pieces that arrived. To get them to fit I will have to cut the ends off, which will let the water in and the rust will start. Only the 6mm tip goes in no stability and the connectors I need don’t even fit the 11 mm stakes.gash purchase

This pack contains a very good variety of attachments for bean sticks & has been very useful. Just a shame the weather has been too hot with no rain plus the black fly has basically killed the beans this year!! Oh well it’s still a great assortment of plastic bits.
