Everything it claims to be
This is a remarkable resource on the late-classical/early-hellenistic era, a series of 1,174 biographical scetches of effectively every Greek and Persian named in every surviving ancient spource covering the lifetime of Alexander and his immediate successors. The scetches are concise but complete, some running to several pages, and all include the citations to the specific ancient sources providing the information, so it is also an excellent starting point for additional research. When modern interpretations concerning the ancient sources disagree, those disagreements are summarized as well. It concludes with sixteen pages of diagramatic family trees. An indisensable book.
