Creative Ninja: A STEAM Book for Kids About Developing Creativity (Ninja Life Hacks)

If you are looking for a book series that works for any elementary grade and teaches children social emotional skills, then look no further. Mary Nhin did a great job. I read a ninja book once a week then my students role play and problem solve throughout the week to build self awareness and confidence. It’s totally working for my kiddos, they especially love blowing their negative thoughts into a balloon and letting it go.This book is no exception to the series. I can’t wait for my students to hear about the 4 C’s to enhance their creativity. Thank you Mary for another great book!

The book was enjoyable, but I think the collections for both characters were very similar. It think if they were more different it would have been more creative. They were also in the same order as well on the types of things to try or do.

Such a valuable tool for children to find their OWN creative direction. The last child I read this book with said he was going to begin a rock collection. A week or so later, at his next session, I was amazed to find out , he followed through with it!

As a teacher who leads through research projects, this book is a great way to introduce how to use creativity when approaching a task. I always tell students to make sure that they pick topics that mean something to them so that they aren't wasting their own time. Now I have a book that helps to show them how to begin to approach projects with creativity.

This is another great book in the series explaining different ways to be creative. With time, work, experimenting, and lots of thinking you can create many things on your own.

My 6 year old daughter and I liked this book very much because we liked the way that Focused Ninja explained the 4 C's and we think it could help us too!

This book is definitely one of my new favorites! As an elementary school teacher, I encourage my students to be creative in many ways. I love how this book defines important key terms such as "curiosity" and "connection" and shows students concrete examples of ways to stay curious and to be creative. After reading this book, students will be immediately inspired to go try out these ideas from the book! The beautiful illustrations make them even more exciting. Highly recommend this to all elementary teachers and families!

Really liked it and so did my daughter. We love Mary's style and enjoy her fun colourful books that have positive messages.
