RitDye Laundry Treatment Color Remover Powder, 2 oz, 3-Pack

This product works sooo well! I had accidentally washed multiple colors together and it didn’t end well. But then I just poured this into the laundry with hot water and with the clothes that were accidentally dyed a different color and it worked!!!! My clothes look exactly like before!

ONLY WORKS WITH STOVE TOP METHOD!!!!I stupidly put a red tie dye sock in with my mixed laundry and everything turned pink. Tried the washing machine method and did nothing. Then I did the stove top method and within 3 min everything was white again. Good stuff. Highly toxic and smells terrible. Do it outside.

Just like so many of you, something red snuck it's way into a load of whites and ruined my day! I was washing white towels and sheets and they were turned a lovely shade of pink, lol. I rewashed with an insane amount of white distilled vinegar, I rewashed with damn near a full bottle of shout stain remover, neither worked so I bought 1package of this from walmart, which is all they had. I didnt read the directions and just dumped it in with my laundry before filling my washer with water or anything, wow go me! It didnt work at all! So I than read the directions, ordered the 3 pack off of here and although it said stovetop was most effective, I don't have a witch cauldron, and I didnt want to do 1 towel at a time so I used my washer. I followed the directions to a T for a topload washer, and used all 3 packages. So it did lighten the pink but unfortunately it didn't do much. So after this I'm feeling pretty desperate, and dumped an entire bottle of bleach in with the load and added water and let them soak for a few hours and finally I opened my washer to see everything back to white! Well all except 1 pesky still light pink pillow case!

Worked for getting red dye bleed out of multiple pairs of jeans. It did seem to lighten the color a bit, but better than pink splotches on jeans and jean shorts. Used for 6 pieces of clothing, kept the clothing soaking in cold water and oxyclean while I waited for the product to get delivered. The oxy only did a little to help. I used all three small boxes in a deep wash with extra rinse. Very happy with results

I had some purple blue dye transfer onto my nice white guest bath towels, ruining them completely. I had spent a lot of money on these towels and only had one guest use them so far so I was upset and trying to find a way to save them. I have tried every other method to turn them white again and nothing else has worked until now! Two packets in the top loader, soaked for 20min with very hot water, then rinsed and ran a quick load to wash everything out and my towels are good as new. I can’t believe it! This is an amazing product. I wish I had taken a before and after photo to show the difference, but I honestly didn’t think it was going to work so I didn’t bother. As others have stated, it does have a strong chemical smell and should be used with care in a well ventilated area. If you have a garment with dye transfer you want to turn back white, this product works to lift and remove the stain completely.

I have known about this product for quite some time so when I washed a pair of white pants I really like with a pair of black stockings by accident, I decided to try it. It really worked. Just keep in mind that for a small load you need two boxes and they come in 3-pack, so do yourself a favor and order 2 3-packs so you have enough for 3 uses. And very important, read and follow the instructions to a T.

Excellent ordering/shipping experience. I received exactly what I ordered, on time, packed perfectly, and the products were in new condition. Unfortunately, the Rit Color Remover did not work. Printed mostly white event t-shirts were accidentally washed with a red scarf another student left behind & everything turned pink. After DAYS of soaking in both this Rit Color Remover and Oxyclean powder in HOT water, the Rit made no noticeable difference and the Oxyclean did work but not completely (the clothes had a slight pink cast to the whites). So, next time, I would use the Oxyclean &/or try another brand of color remover. FYI, the smell of the Rit is pretty caustic....and it permeated my entire house. Be aware if you're sensitive to smells, you won't be able to to tolerate the Rit.

The smell is horrible while you are letting your items soak in the water with it; but it did what it says on the box it was going to do.
