AllTuff Self Charging Cooling Vest (Blue 78°F)

This works really well. I have used it mowing on a hot, humid day in the midwest and it kept me surprisingly cool. It is very lightweight and I usually wear one of the performance tees underneath. Hardly know I'm wearing it. I have already invested in cooler inserts (54 degrees versus the 78 degree ones that come with this vest). I think this will be part of my mowing gear for years to come.

It's quite ineffective, at least in 90 degree heat and high humidity--which, of course, is when you really need it. It seemed to slightly cool me for a few minutes, then the extremely humid heat overcame it (per AccuWeather, the "real feel" was over 100 degrees) and I was as hot for the rest of the hour I was outside mowing as if I hadn't had the vest on at all. In fact, I think I was hotter since the vest seemed to prevent perspiration from evaporating.

I have multiple sclerosis and I can't get overheated or it could cause my symptoms to become worse temporarily until I can get somewhere to cool down. I bought this vest to help keep me cool while I'm outside in the heat of the summer so I could take my dogs out to play. It works great. It keeps me cool but not cold and unlike the vests that use evaporative cooling I stay dry or with Somme that use ice packs, it would sometimes get too cold so close to my skin. This isn't frozen and when it starts to melt all I need to do is being it in and place it in the fridge for a few minutes and it becomes solid and cool again so I can go right back outside again, whereas ice packs is have to wait for hours for it to freeze again. Thank you Amazon for bringing this product to your customers for such a great price.

seriously impressed with this! Amazing how it self charges! It really works. We were at an outdoor event this past weekend. Our son has CP and is in a wheelchair. He overheats so easily!!!!!! We're in St. Louis and it's incredibly hot right now - like tipping 100 degrees with really high humidity. We were all sweating and had little energy. Our son was cool to the touch. Amazed with this technology and a huge fan!!!!!!

My wife absolutely loves this, and it had made our warmer than usual Texas summer bearable for her.
