I needed a seat for my vanity. I used to have a regular chair in the space but the back of the chair would hinder access to the middle drawer of the vanity and I would have to move the chair to open the drawer. That’s when I knew I needed a stool/ottoman instead of a chair but I also needed it to match the wicker/rattan material of the vanity. This color matched my existing furniture perfectly and the added storage provided with the drawer is truly amazing. The only con I could find was that when sitting on the ottoman, it creaks just a little bit but that seems to be common across other wicker seating so it doesn’t truly bother me. I am in love with this and I’m happy with my purchase. Though it’s a bit expensive, I’d say it’s worth it.

Order this item with confidence that it will arrive looking even better than the image. It is nicely upholstered, and it's multi-functional. I bought it as a footstool but it can double as a stool when you need extra seating. There's enough storage in the basket for the things you want close at hand when you relax--your book or magazines kindle, laptop, pen, glasses, tissues, whatever. You can also remove the basket if you want to carry it somewhere else. I am very happy with it.
