This degassed well and fit our queen matress very well.Made the last few night on our matress very comfortable.

My old mattress was hurting my lower back and I could not afford a new one right now. This Sleep Max 4 inch topper was a God send. I can sleep comfortably now and awake with NO PAIN!!! Best purchase I have made in a long time

I was looking for something to put under a tempurpedic topper to make a full mattress for my trailer bedroom. This works perfectly it's very firm and supportive. I wouldn't know what it is like by itself.

On the sleep front this was a good purchase. Definitely sleeping better. Can’t remember any random mornings of odd pains as I had occasionally before.The topper slides around and needs to be adjusted daily. The anti slip surface and the corner straps may keep it from falling off of the bed, but the edge is typically 2-3 inches off daily.

When our 3” gel infused memory foam mattress topper began shrinking after 3 years of use, we looked for a replacement. The “Sleepmax 3” Bamboo Charcoal Gel Infused Foam Mattress Pad” seemed like a great choice and offered several improvements over bare foam toppers. The Sleepmax has a nice zippered cover, offers a non-slip bottom, odor proofing and corner straps to prevent shifting. Also, the Sleepmax is the exact size of the mattress, unlike bare foam toppers which are often 1” less on each side.Sadly, the Sleepmax proved much more firm than the bare foam topper it replaced. The 3” Sleepmax topper is just 2” of memory foam bonded to 1” of high-density foam. Sleeping on it was not much different than sleeping directly on top of our firm mattress. After 2 weeks of restless and sleepless nights, we reinstalled our old topper and slept well once again. So we initiated a return.Repacking a king size 3” foam topper for return is a chore! Fitting it in the original shipping box is impossible without professional vacuum packing equipment. So we did the next best thing: fold it in half and roll it up just like it was shipped, tie it with fabric straps and put it in a 90-100 gallon poly trash can liner, where we used a canister vacuum to suck all the air out of the bag. That reduced the topper in size by 75% where we could stuff it in a larger box. But since the trash bag didn’t seal completely, the topper slowly expanded inside the box until it strained at the sides and ends. Tape it WELL and take it to UPS right away!Note that I did not expect to be required to return the mattress topper for a refund according to the terms and conditions spelled out in the listing. Per the listing, the item is “Eligible for Return, Refund or Replacement within 30 days of receipt.” The link “Read Full Return Policy” leads to a page with the following caveat under the heading MATTRESSES:You can request a return or refund for any reason within 100 days of receipt of shipment.Unboxed, expanded, and full size mattresses are not returnable, but are eligible for a refund.I’m glad we initiated the return within 2 weeks of receiving the topper, so I don’t know whether Amazon would have honored the 100 day caveat. That they require a mattress topper to be returned, which just like a larger/thicker shipped-compressed mattress, is virtually impossible to repack and can not be resold, is very frustrating for customers. The MATTRESSES caveat in the terms and conditions ought be clarified to include mattress TOPPERS as well.

Great buy! Made our bed much more comfortable, we have a purple mattress & it wasn’t very soft. Now it is!

It's memory foam but I don't think it's dense enough, therefore, it's still not firm enough and I will still sink down, which eventually causes back pain for me every night. It also gets pretty hot which might be something you'd wanna be mindful of.

I'm going to chock this purchase up to my bad but to help others I want provide the following info. I tossed the box so I'm not sure I can return it, so keep the box until you know its your jam.This is hard memory foam. It takes a a minute or two to contour to your body. I'm 5'11" 205ish lbs for context. This means if/when you roll over the contours are like lumps in the bed until it re-adjusts to your shape. While the description says "cooling" I think I've woken up sweating almost every night. This isn't what I was looking for but it might be what you want. On the positive side, I like the cover and it seems well made. The straps are great for holding the topper in place. I really didn't notice any strong smells from the memory foam either. I hope this helps you make a better informed purchase than I did.
