I like that this product is made with nontoxic ingredients. My dog loves it, and it has a pleasant squeak which keeps him engaged but doesn’t drive me crazy.

My dog (13 lbs pug) fell in love with this toy the day I gave it to her. She loves the texture of it and loves to play fetch with it or just chew it and throw it around. This brand of toys is just really excellent. In addition to this one (which is much closer biologically to a mite, not spider, haha) I got the fish and the caterpillar from the same maker. She plays with all of them and they have proven to be very durable. Also, I like how gentle and quiet the squeak it makes is. Loud squeaking toys are an abomination, and bad for the dog's ears.

This toy has been played with by 4 labs of various ages. All of the labs were raised as potential service dogs. I have had the toy for 18 months and it looks almost new. The puppy I purchased it for is now 18 months old and still loves to play with it. No hard chewers among the 4 dogs and not a tug toy.

My puppy has so many toys, but by far this is his favorite! It's sturdier than it seems.
