No more muddy paws in the house!!
My Goldendoodle has BIG, furry paws. So much fur. And springtime is my enemy, because even though it's starting to get warm and the sunshine feels amazing...I have a white dog with fur that grabs hold of mud and grass and all sorts of ick and nothing short of a full bath gets it out. Then I found this little gadget! It's like an individual foot bath, because the paw definitely gets soaked - you have been warned! I know there is the squeegee teeth at the top, and those rubber grips do help slide a little water off, but if your dog has a lot of fur like mine, the paw will still come out soaking wet. But that's why the microfiber mitt is there - it definitely helps dry but for us at least, it only does about 2 paws before it's soaked through. So I would recommend another microfiber towel on hand, they do work better than a regular towel. My dog is very patient and doesn't mind me putting his paw in the tube and plunging it up and down, but I can see how some dogs might not stand for it. I don't use any soap in it, just plain water and his paw comes up clean. I just have to dry it well and then brush. It's really helped cut down on the amount of dirt brought in to the hosue. Great invention!

Not as easy as it looks
I tried this product because my dog likes to dig in the mud. It is almost hard to get her foot into the Paw Wash as it is to get her to sit still for a towel. Once you do get a paw in, the whole column is filled with mud, so you have to empty the paw wash and put in more water before you can tackle another paw. Not too practical!

Paw washer cool idea!!
Totally love the concept, however it did not work so well with my 4 month old Bouvier, her paws are pretty big which made the rubber keep coming off when I pulled out her paw. Just a bit snug for a med to large dog. LOVED THE CONCEPT!!!!!!

I think the concept is good however it did not work well with my dog
I think the concept is good however it did not work well with my dog. Every time I pulled his leg out the squeegee would pull out, it still left his legs dirty, you have to use soap but don't rinse it off so he then licks his paws with small amounts of soapy residue. It may work well for others but my Pitbulls & I just didn't like it. :(

does the job but.....
cleans as it claims but its soaks the dogs paws in the process. you really need to dry the dogs paws or they'll still leave tracks in the house.

Washes well.
It washes the paws well. The dryer mitt is used if available otherwise a work towel is used. My dog is pretty well trained and listens when I tell her to hold still but I have had dogs in the past that would have been upset if I tried this on them and a wrestling match would have ensued. The front legs wash very well. The back legs are a bit awkward due to the bend in the knee joint(?) but they too get washed.

Works great
I love it! It works great for my German sheprherd who is for some reason terrified of a bucket with water. I still need to wipe his belly with a wet cloth if it is too wet outside but his paws are definately cleaner after using Paw Wash.
