Jaymin Eve Does It Again - 5 Stars All Around!
This is the second series written by Jaymin Eve that I've read and woah - she always exceeds expectations! The Supernatural Prison series is absolutely fantastic, with relatable and sassy characters who love just as hard as they fight. These books and everything the characters endure over the seven titles not only sends me bursting with pride and fills me with every emotion under the sun - but is also healing. The friendships and family connections, the support, the forgiveness - it all helped me see what I couldn't before. Simple sentences showing kindness and support had me in tears! I loved this series and will definitely read again.

Well written paranormal fantasy but beware, there are a couple of triggering scenes.
This is the first book in the Supernatural Prison series. It is a fun and interesting read filled with shifters, vampires, magic users and fae. There are scenes set in prisons and events which might be triggering for some people but it was well written and let's just say, revenge is sweet. The characters are young and some of their decisions are impulsive and not thought through but it is in keeping with the story. Overall I liked the main characters; they are interesting and each quite unique. Some characters have been more well developed than others and I look forward to seeing their growth in future books. The world this is set in is framed well with enough detail to fire the imagination without dictating every aspect.I'm off to get book 2.

Brilliant start
How the hell have I not come across this gem before.Wowsers is this a series and a half, loving the story and the build up. Lots of questions to the mystery of everything that’s happening with these characters and the plot itself.Book 1 is entertaining, full of action and adventure. Love how tight these characters are too.Oh and some pretty interesting twists that keep you on your toes.

Dragon Marked
Jessa Lebron is a wolf shifter in a supernatural community. Murders are happening in the town - are they trying to frame her alpha father; her best friends; or are they trying to get her out of the picture. This was so much fun! It's a completely different world, the five supernatural species living (somewhat) harmoniously together, away from humans. I completely got caught up in it!Jessa's dad is an important council member; and as the strongest of their respective species, her four best-friends, are training for their stint as council leaders.Jessa is not to be messed with. She is simply one of the guys, and you do not want to get in her way - especially if there's food at stake.Jessa is content with her odd little pack - the four brothers are family for her, she would die for them, and vice versa. Together they go through training, and in their spare time they try to find the hidden supernatural prison that borders their town. But Jessa discovers that there was a reason her mother deserted her, and her father has been withholding information for the past twenty years.Cue lessons on the history of supernaturals! I loved the mythology Eve has created - the Dragon King, and the fear and paranoia left behind. The Compass brothers were great, they are so loyal to each other, and devoted to Jessa, no matter how much they give her a hard time! It's interesting to see their different skills, and how people treat them, knowing that it would be very dangerous to upset them.I will say, I wanted to bang Braxton and Jessa's heads together - screw the friendship code - literally! So an exciting and entertaining little book, I'm off to buy the second in the trilogy!

You'll enjoy this if you like adventure stories filled with whizz-bang action.
This book is described as YA fiction for the 17+ age group and is clearly written for teens – Marvel comic style. After reading the first few pages I thought OK, just right for a fast read, an easy flick-through... a piece of fluff. But, with just one chapter under my belt I knew I’d been on the wrong track; this old codger was sold, lapping the juicy, totally gripping storyline like a cat with a dish of double cream.Action packed, vibrant and life affirming, Dragon Marked is a totally compelling read. A wild adventure ride packed with unique characters. The leads: Jessa, the wolf-shifter and her ‘pack’, Braxton the dragon-shifter, Jacob the fey, Tyson the wizard and Maximus the vampire, live in Stratford, Connecticut, one of the supernatural communities magically shielded from Earth’s human populace. Stanford adjoins Vanguard, one of the fortresses that imprison supernatural criminals of the highest order, to keep both ‘supes’ and human’s safe. When Braxton and Jessa are locked up in Vanguard by a power grabbing, corrupt official, they discover long-hidden secrets. Not only does Jessa find the ability to unleash an unexpected new form and ability, but she and Braxton learn of a cataclysmic secret that threatens not only the supernaturals but the whole world – the Dragon King will rise again.

Dragon marked.
This is really good. It's more about setting the scene for what l think is going to be an exciting series. Jessa is strong and she has strong friends, who would do anything for her.. I'm trying to work out if any of these are her destined mate or if she'll find him in her next destination... I need the next book!

Wow, what a 1st book
This book builds the characters and the world's, it was an easy read but the tension and suspense are building beautifully, the romances are there gently brewing, a really good read, I suspect it is YA which I wasn't aware of but honestly it won't stop me continuing, given I'm anything but YA that's a good recommendation!!

Hard to put down!
Easy but great reading, I'm excited to see what happens next in this series. Glad I'm coming to them when they've been written rather than having to wait for a new release!

Book vs series
I liked that in the book the prophecy is explained and that we have more answers but still some are left to be answered. In the series, they find the answers by a tree who answers in poetry. I kinda like the book more. I will read the second book now because I’m intrigued.

I'm in love!
I loved the book! I desperately want to read the second book but the price is a little too much. Nevertheless, I love Jaymin's books and this one totally didn't disappoint me. If you're looking for a book filled with ripped-as-fuck, sexy, hot males (including a particular dragon shifter) and an equally matched strong, hot-headed female character (also strong), this book is the one for you!

Buckle up ✌🏾
I have read a lot of Jaymin Eve books and I must say at the beginning I wasn't really getting into the story because the story really begins from scratch, plain looks simple, the developing slow and somehow too many characters around Jessa. I wasn't sure I wanted to continue reading the book but I thought c'mon this is Jaymin it can't be this bad, and believe me when I tell you guys its totallyworth the read! I love these characters! They ni are so different but so a like🙄 what am I even saying🤦🏾 its worth the read! Book 1 doesn't have a lot of action because its developing the characters but can't wait to get my hands on book 2. Its a 5 🌟 for me for book 1
