I boughtbthis in June 2022. In July it stopped recording videos. I called customer support so many times and they disconnect the call each time. One woman was referring to a manual and attempted to resolve but after indicating i have dust on my sd card, was not able to tell me where to find the sd card. I mentioned to her previous calls have disconnected and requested she call back. She never did. Nearly brand new device, malfunctioning and very poor customer service. Very disappointed.

The door bell video is great, image is tack sharp. Connection to network and Lorex app was straightforward. The issue I had was mounting this on a stucco door surround (that's where the existing wires come out).The doorbell mounts flush onto the mounting bracket, and there's no room for wiring or wire nuts. I had to fabricate a piece of Azex 3/8 thick and hollow out the middle with a roto zip to make room. there should be a mounting block included.I am looking at getting a 15 degree mounting block to make it look more uniform.

Easy to install and works like a charm. Notifies you when someone has approached your house and has voice option to speak with the person.

I took it down after nine months. It stopped connecting to my Wi-Fi, which required a manual reset, which requires you to pull it off the wall, but every time I did that, the manual reset never took.You have to connect to the doorbell's wireless hotspot to change it's internal settings when it can't connect to your wifi, but it never properly emitted one for me to do that, even though I know the voltage going into it was good.Customer services scripts and flowcharts ate up a lot of my time. In the end they were of no help at all.The camera itself is mediocre enough that I almost gave it two stars, but the communication between it and my app is so slow that any activity is reported way after the fact, so all you've got is a less than normal quality video recorder, not a doorbell.I'm honestly better off with a standard old-fashioned doorbell. I have Lorex security cameras, too, and have only slightly better experience with those. Avoid the brand all together if you can.

Car headlights up and down the stree make the notifications go off and I really reduced the sensor area

If it looses WiFi, the camera has to be removed to reset. This is a problem when you travel and there is no one to remove the Camera from its mouth and reset the camera Wi-Fi. It is not an easy camera to remove and especially not easy to reinstall.
