I like first that they work well across the radio bands. I now have 3 of them for different tranceivers. Great out on the windowsill at home and great on location outdoors. But for mobile use while travelling, the mag mount wasn’t strong enough to have it on the car roof, not without using some strips of gaffa tape to keep it stuck down. That is its only limitation in my experience.

Item meets my requirement for improved reception over the OEM "Rubber Ducky" whip.It's on my roof and reception has improved significantly.

Purchased this as a replacement for the mag-mount I currently have on on my car due to it coming off at speed. Installed this new antenna and quickly found that the cable is not 3M. More like 2M, so had to make an extension up. It seems to work well for Airband, and have received 2M traffic pretty clearly as well. The mag mount is certainly secure - I forgot I had it on the roof, but it was still on there after speeds over 150mph - Impressive!

Very small, make sure you read the dimensions before buying

He comprado esta antena para sustituir la original que trae mi sdr-rtl, la típica telescópica de radio de bolsillo de los 80. Mi sorpresa es que no recibe ni la mitad que la mía, y lo digo literalmente...no es por desprestigiar el producto, de hecho le doy 2 estrellas por la construcción, pero como digo, sorda!
