Awesome slow trolling lure flasher 'cowbell'!!!
Wow! So, I ordered this for small to medium sized lakes. I have a 10 foot bass raider with a 30 pound trolling motor. I was fishing recently and used this flasher with a small (hook size 12 with treble) wooly worm spoon lure about 12 - 18 inches back on 4-pound test fishing line. The spoons on the flasher are about the size of a 50 cent piece, the steel wire is very thin and flexible with good swivels at each end. This is a really slow trolling lure with good height ( if your line is 15 - 20 yards behind you, it's about 6 feet deep). My speed was approx. 1.2 to 1.5 feet per second. The lake I fished was fishing at 'fair' from the fishing report. Conclusion: I caught seven(7) fish in four hours of trolling. Came in, ate lunch, switched my battery, and went back out. Caught 9 fish in five (5) hours. I lost about 8 fish. All fish were between 10 to 14 inches in length with one at 16 inches.. All in all, I had a great day of fishing with this flasher. I've already bought two more.
