Beautiful, giftable box.
I bought this to present heirloom pearls as a gift. It’s beautiful! It’s definitely more green, not black. The box is sturdy, well made, satiny on the outside, white velvet inside. I read reviews where they were talking about the button on the box, there is a little button but I think it’s just decorative not meant to do anything. If you turn the box sideways, the jewelry inside does get tossed around. There is a circle cut out where the necklace is meant to fit in, but it’s presentation only. If you lay it flat and present it as a gift, it makes a fantastic presentation. I took off one star since it doesn’t hold the necklace in place, but it is a great, beautiful place to keep and protect your valuable necklace.

This deep dark green necklace box is nicely padded. I have searched online for just the right box for an 18 inch necklace. THIS WAS THE TOP PICK.The pearls fit nicely in the groove. There is a thin stretchable elastic cord on each side of the necklace groove, practically hidden, which you can use to loop your necklace under to keep it secure before you close the clasp.If you have a special piece of jewelry. This IS the box for you.After the first one arrived,very securely packaged, I ordered two more.These boxes compete with designer boxes and are reasonably priced. I am a picky person when it comes to quality. I am very satisfied with these necklace boxes.They can also be used for two bracelets.

Beautiful and classy
I bought this box to gift a necklace for my son's girlfriend. I wasn't sure it would work, as a pearl necklace was used as an example. This box would beautifully display any 18" necklace. The leather is soft and the color is rich. The lining is lovely and set off the necklace perfectly. I wish I had thought to take a picture because it made the necklace look that much more beautiful.
