eleduino Raspberry Pi 10.1 Inch 1280x800 Pixel IPS Hdmi Input 10 Point Capacitive Touchscreen Display

So far, this product does not work. I have contacted the supplier in an attempt to fix my issue. I am trying to use this with an XBox and eventually with a windows 10 mini computer. I am not happy.

The directions that come with the touchscreen specify edits to be made to /boot/config.txt - five lines, which, if you don't add, they say will make your monitor look DOA. I made these changes, and the monitor looked DOA. I emailed eleduino, and they emailed back, essentially, the same instructions. I tried again, double-checking everything, and sure enough, it still looked DOA. I emailed them to let them know that yes, I had verified that I followed their instructions exactly. And waited over a day, receiving no response. (A weekday.)Finally, I reflashed the card to the original (i.e. pre-edit) image, to boot my Raspberry Pi onto my desktop monitor, but forgot to switch the HDMI cable back to the desktop monitor. I booted, and ... the touchscreen (the Eleduino I'm reviewing) came up and looked beautiful. WITHOUT the changes they specify.I am giving this product two stars because (a) their directions were wrong - profoundly so - in telling me to do something, when doing nothing was the correct course of action, and (b) because their customer service was so unresponsive. Had my efforts been "for pay," this would have been a huge waste of money.P.S. If you have a Raspberry Pi 3, model B, at least, ignore their directions to edit the /boot/config.txt file.

Does have an exceptional screen compared to the competition, so far the touchscreen just works with Ubuntu 16.04, Debian, Kali(not updated) after the update I got a black screen so really can't contirbute it the the screen. Really if it was based on Debian it worked. Fedora not so much. Really was expecting a huge research project to get it to work. Beware it does not come with a charging block but it did work with a 5v 2a block just fine so make sure you order a charging block also

Image quality is great and works out of the box (not with the changes the give) with the Raspberry Pi 3B on the latest version of Raspian.For some reason the controller stopped working correctly after a day so I sent it back and ordered another, I'll update this if the same thing happens again.

Display faded into a f uzzy white screen and stayed there. Dead beef. No werky.

Lasted a month or so before dying... Amazon referred me to the Eleduino website for warranty and warranty policy... They don't have one. Amazon to their credit gave me a partial refund, which I'm OK with... So I would say that while it looked good while it lasted, avoid this one.

Nice display, but with little problems. Not really working under win 10 build 1607.Problem description:Often a button’s functionality will not work unless I press the touchscreen very hard. If I touch the touchscreen normally, the button’s animations may trigger but the functionality of that button will not.To fix this Problem please install build 1511... Then the touchscreen working perfectly.

Low end construction and quality. Looks like someone tried to create a monitor from a tablet screen (based on the windows symbol and webcam hole at the top). Worked for a few minutes but then faded into lines and no image. Pressing around the frame on the screen brought the image back but not completely. Layers of plastic were not completely laminated together. ZIF cables/connectors and circuit board are exposed and should be internal.Would recommend staying away from this product.
