This was very fun. I do, however, agree with another reviewer. The directions could be better. Also, mine didn’t come with the glue. I had some left from another house I made. But my daughter loves it so much she uses it as her new nightlight. I would definitely recommend trying this one out.-Brandi

I've been making a lot of these minature houses/rooms lately and this one was one of my favorite. I like the way it looks all finished with the blue and white lights, and the detail in this kit is really great. The only thing is I wish the directions were more clear, especially when it comes to the lighting. It was confusing and when I thought I had the right cords together, it started smoking -- luckily, my husband help figure it out for me, but the instructions for lighting were difficult, which could be dangerous if not done correctly. Overall though, I loved this one and it was different than a lot of the others I have done.

The instructions are nearly impossible to follow unless you read Chinese, so you have to wing it most of the way. There are some visuals, but it's tricky. We got defeated and still haven't completed this project. Definitely recommend for a patient, miniature hobby pro/adult. My (10 year old) daughter got quite frustrated, so I would not gift this to a child.I'm determined to finish it someday - it looks so cute in the photos!

It came with missing pieces so i couldn't finish it

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She loves arts and craft and building things. Firstly it took 6+ weeks to arrive (way after her birthday) it was shipped from China so no wonder. . . .so far there are 3 missing items in the kit (glue being one) which is very important for putting everything together! No quality control here. . . It's not a PRIME item - lesson learned.

This is a very cute, unique, inexpensive kit. I was not sure how enthusiastic I would be, but it's different - the little clam shell bed is adorable. I added some different fish instead of paper cut outs (actually button on wires attached to the 'floor'). Kind of hard to see through the transparent plastic once it's complete - take photos if you like before that point! Also, a mistake that would be typical of me, but I avoided, is that there are two sheets of plastic, and they are different sizes - an inner and an outer. Be sure you are working with the correct size. The back side with the battery box is a little awkward and messy - works fine and who's looking anyhow.

Shipping took a while and the directions are a little hard to understand

The instructions were very poor in describing how to put it together.I had a very hard time and this is not my first miniture room I have put together.
