Great for keeping the sun of my granddaughter

To start off with positives, it does help block direct sunlight, which is the main reason we bought it. It also helps in breaking the wind when the window is opened. We have a small child that sits in her car seat when travelling, so those two points were the main purpose of this purchase.Another positive is that it was easy to put on the car door, as you literally just slide it on. So can’t complain about ease of application.The quality isn’t great, as it’s a lot thinner than we expected, and because of this, we accidentally tore it (which is easily done) when we ‘slipped’ it on. Luckily two come in a pack and we only needed one side covered, so we just put the spare one on instead.It doesn’t look too great, and this is because it doesn’t fit too well, it has an awkward fit. But we kept it because it was a cheap buy for a last minute occasion.Because it’s an awkward fit and thin material, it is a tiny bit unstable when driving fast, as it moves about because of the wind but because it’s in the door, you can feel confident in it not flying off.Overall not a bad buy, but you get what you pay for! Can’t complain as it did the job, next time we might invest in something a little more!

Bit too big for my car but still does the job

The media could not be loaded. I bought this shade for my four-year-old daughter, who sometimes experiences car sickness or motion sickness. The medical advice was to buy these shades, so I started looking for the right one. When I saw the picture of this shade, I thought it was dark enough to at least prevent my daughter from looking outside. However, it's lighter than it appears in the first photo and doesn't completely block the view outside. You can still see buildings and moving objects, as shown in the video.The shade does provide good protection from the sun but doesn't make the car dark; there is still plenty of light. The advertisement says you can remove it when it rains. When it rains, it tends to stick to the window; however, you can leave it on if you don't mind it getting wet. It's light enough that closing the door won't allow water into the car.If you keep removing and reattaching the shade, the adhesive part that sticks to the metal of the door inside will lose its strength. Additionally, for children younger than five, including four-year-olds, it’s easy to tear. In the video, you can see some marks where my daughter played with it when we first bought it.While the shade is suitable for blocking the sun, it isn't very effective for preventing motion sickness in children.

They didn't cover my whole back windows on a c4 grand Picasso, they had a 2 inch gap from the bottom of the window. But I thought it helps a bit so I will give it a go. On the first day of using them in Ireland, the rain came down whilst on the motorway and the water came into the car dripping on my screaming kids as they thought the doors were open. I would send them back, but the postage would be more!!!!!
