Not an ultralight carry but it’s heavy duty. Awesome product that will take the abuse you may need to inflict on it.

Used it for at least a solid hour of digging in both clay and rocky ground and it worked great and is still tight with no bending or deformation. None of my previous folding shovels could have done that amount of work without issues. But that solidity comes at a price: this thing is HEAVY, as in I cannot see anyone ever sticking it in a backpack willingly. Takes little storage space when folded. I do a lot of primitive camping, got it for needs when you have to do what a bear is questioned about doing in the woods.

It's literally gorgeous and hefty. As a poop hole digger it's exceptional. I tried using it as a combat weapon against a bag of bird seed I have. It was difficult to make it pierce the bag and when it did it twisted the shovel screws off and became loose. Clearly this is unacceptable as a combat weapon.I think if it's the only shovel you have it's way better than a stick and way better than a rock. But you have to be careful not to bend it and the thing will become loose on you.If the shovelhead was truly unbendable and if it didn't come undone it would be a five-star miracle. Since the shovelhead will bend between you and a rock and it comes loose I think it's only almost good.It's literally better than nothing but it's not going to replace your mining gear. I would not use this for prospecting or self-defense it's kind of just like a gimmick. If you can lock the screws on and you give me a truly unbreakable and unbendable version I will worship that shovel. Right now it's only a prototype. It looks good and feels hefty, but in the use fails and slumps a bit.

only one complaint, I wish the blade was a little larger. but it is just fine as is. the knife and whistle and flint aren't the highest quality. but they were not a consideration in my purchase.the shovel has some hedt to it. it has dug through all the terrain I have needed to cathole in with easy.way, way, better than the "normal" short handle shovel. get one for the car of you live in snow!

The media could not be loaded. With a little extra money on hand I decided to go ahead and purchase this multifunctional shovel. I've been trying to put together first aid/survival backpacks for both the house and vehicles. When I stumbled upon this product I reviewed it thoroughly and then decided it was worth the purchase. It comes with a traveling bag with included strap but also a safety guard for the shovelhead itself.It also has an ax, a saw, a hex wrench, bottle opener, nail puller, hunting knife, Flint and emergency whistle a Philips head screwdriver and a safety hammer.The hunting knife, Flint and emergency whistle can be screwed into each extension rod. Upon first reviewing this I thought the flint/emergency whistle might have not made the trip but you can find it inside the traveling bag. Everything else is already screwed into place for you. The safety Hammer is the top of the shovel the hunting knife is already in the extension rod and like I said it's a very easy to assemble and disassemble for traveling purposes. It comes with product specifications and safety instructions like it cannot proceed 570° f to the shovelhead without being compromised, you can also add a little lubrication oil to the threads of the extension bars to prevent them getting stuck and extending the shovels shelf life so to speak. The shovelhead itself has its own protection glove with velcro tabs to keep it on. All in all I'm very happy with this product it was a great addition to my project

La verdad no sabía que esperar por el precio, pero la realidad es que es una pala pequeña de emergencia y se siente muy bien, es plagable y trae un estuchito, incluso cuenta con brujula.

I bought this to take with me on rides to do trail maintenance for mountain biking. I live on the Sunshine Coast where we get a lot of rain in the winter and the trails are in dense forest. The shovel cut through the dirt and roots surprisingly well delivered above and beyond what I was expecting. It fits in my backpack/hydration pack easily with lots of room for other tools and gloves. The hoe/pick feature works great for breaking the ground for easy digging and the shovel head cut through small roots incredibly well.One of my reasons for picking this one was the handle length, it is longer than most but still is not a shovel I would want to be doing a lot of digging with at my age.

For a folding shovel it definitely comes with its multiple uses and meets your needs just fine if you're used to a lot of outdoor work. It's also super sturdy, easy to move around and very easy to handle. Not disappointed at all.

I bought this for a gift, at first i couldnt find knife inside and got salty about it, but apparently it was hiding inside of handle. Anyways very satisfied with quality of the product and glad i got this for my mate.
