i’ve been hobbling around at a job that requires standing - unable to take all weight off my broken toe. Today was much better with this Boot. I was able to use a superfoot insole to cushion my arch, Then reroute the Velcro so that the bottom flap is open and does not apply pressure to my toe. The boot shifts my weight backwards - putting little to no pressure on the toe. I think the insole It’s important and I agree with some of the other reviewers that it doesn’t have fantastic traction. Just be careful, it helped me out tremendous. Highly recommend if you hurt your toe as badly as I did

I smashed my pinky toe on the metal frame of a sliding glass door and was convinced it was broken (turned out to be a bad bruise). Standing was impossible, flexing my foot or lifting my toes was excruciating, and after just 24 hours of limping around my house, my other knee and foot were killing me and my hips were aching from hobbling around. I got 2 of this shoe (so my alignment would stay even) and I’m so glad I did! They look ridiculously ugly—Bride of Frankenstein—but I can now stand, walk, vacuum, and all sorts of things that were impossible before. These are allowing me to function at a much higher level and do most of my daily life activities, since I live alone and have no one to help me. I was also worried the straps might put pressure across the toes, but they don’t at all. Also prevent accidental banging of an injured toe while wearing these. Very highly recommend!!

I broke my big toe and was looking for a way to be on my feet for work while keeping pressure off my toe. The design of this shoe does a great job keeping the majority of the pressure on the middle and back part of the foot while allowing me to walk "normally" with the way the shoe tips forward. I can hobble around in this shoe almost as fast as I typically walked before breaking my toe. My only complaint with the product is that the inside of the shoe is completely flat, meaning there was some slight pressure on my toe when I walked. I was able to easily solve this problem by chopping a cheap flip-flop to a size that allowed my toes to hang off the front. This improvised cushion fits perfectly inside the boot without sliding and allows me to walk around pain-free! Some points of information: The boot is pretty tall (especially with an added cushion). I just wear a tennis shoe on the other foot, but there is a slight height difference there. The boot is heavy! By the end of the day, my foot aches pretty badly from clomping around with the extra weight. I think it's worth it for the mobility it gives me, but fair warning for y'all! The first time you wear the boot, you'll need to cut the Velcro straps to the right length. They make the straps extra long so they can fit all different shapes of feet (and added cushions), so make sure you chop them to the length you need to avoid tripping. The bottom is pretty nice. I wasn't sure what to expect there, but I can definitely wear them outside without damaging the boot. It hasn't snowed here yet though, so I can't vouch for their usefulness in that!

I bought it to relieve pressure on my sesamoid bone that I broke while allowing the metatarsal to heel. I needed a rigid show to transition out of a cam boot but it is so hard that it makes my foot ache. I’m not sure if I can wear it vs the fracture boot. Runs a hair small as well

I have an ulcer on the bottom of my foot right under my toes. This shoe is excellent. It provides protection so that I am not walking on that area thus allowing it to heal up. I recommend this to anyone that needs it.

Very poorly made. It made my hips hurt when I walked. Don't buy it

I needed this while on vacation, was worried it would be cheap made, it surprised me. It was good quality for price, adjustable Velcro for size adjustment. It takes pressure off the front of the foot, and was a life saver! Comfortable for walking around shopping etc. easy to clean.

I broke my toe last week and have been walking on the side of my foot to overcompensate for it. This boot alleviates the pressure off of your toes. I can now work out at the gym and walk my dog freely. Thank You!

I cannot recommend these enough! 4 weeks in with a broken toe with the pain as bad as day 1 I was getting desperate for a miracle. The way this shoe is designed means your toes have virtually no contact with the floor and walking was such an issue for me. I really think this shoe will help my toe heal quicker now. The people moaning about the long velcro and even knocking off a star obviously haven't read the description stating you will need to cut to your own length. A game changer for me!

Brilliant, supported my broken index toe really well, though the sizing was tricky and the Velcro straps not straightforward to cut. Reading another review, they said the UK 6 was roomy in the Small, so I ordered a Small. I'm a size 7, and they were definitely too short. I've now ordered a Medium. Can be worn on either foot. Comfy, gives great support, no pain!

Welcome relief following broken little toe. Totally transformed from hobbling about to being able to walk without constant pain. Not exactly a fashion statement, but with a dark sock and trousers who cares when it's a choice between being able to get around almost painlessly or spend weeks limping and yelping!
