Been With A Star 12. What Are We Doing Editorial Reviews Product Description After his debut solo album O soared to the #1 sport on Billboard's Top 200 Chart, it was solidified that Omarion was a force to be reckoned with. Now at age 21, Omarion's growth, maturity and depth are showcased on his sophomore effort, aptly titled 21. With contributions from producers like Timbaland (Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado) Pharrell, Bryan Michael Cox (Usher), every song shows how Omarion is not a kid anymore. 'To me, at 21, it was a realization of who I wanted to become, just me practicing my morals as a man and getting better in my craft', he says. He's got a liquidy voice, the looks to go with it and, at long last, a permanent lock on adulthood (21--get it?). But unlike another former boy-bander who hit the bigs with a well received solo disc, he's not hell-bent on bringing sexy back: 21, like O before it, traffics in funk-ribboned, vaguely Michael Jackson-ish club joints ("Entourage," "Do It," "Obsession") and a handful of sincerity-dunked slow jams ("Just Can't Let You Go," "Have You Ever Been With a Star"). But its chief concern seems to be putting across its creator's gift for getting heads bobbing. That's not to suggest that the newly mature Omarion is lacking in the ladies' man department--look no further than "Midnight," "Just That Sexy," and the craftily assembled lovers-from-friends number "What Are We Doing" for pulse-raising proof--only to point out that for him, raciness takes a back seat to bumpin' beats and a vibe that's borderline playful. A choir boy he ain't, but here's betting your mother will like him more than Timbaland and Timberlake. --Tammy La Gorce desertcart.com He's got a liquidy voice, the looks to go with it and, at long last, a permanent lock on adulthood (21--get it?). more 2 offer this time
As much as i enjoyed O's first CD. 21 is definetely more grown up and mature than his previous effort. At first i wasn't really into "Entourage" but the more i listened to it. The more i got a feel and enjoyed the song more. It has like a 80's vibe to it hard to explain but i'm feeling it. Also love these tracks below in no order: Ice Box (just that good) Made For TV (nicely done slow jam) Just Can't Let You Go (the beat won't let you go) Midnight (one of favs on the cd overall, vocals and everything just bring it together) Just That Sexy (i just enjoy this one) Do It (again a nice beat and vocals) What Are We Doing (a nice closer) to a cd that brings much more to the table in the way of a more grownup feel to it. Also with Omarion writing songs 1,2,3,7,8,10,11 and 12. He's bringing it with more input to the songs he's singing and its very evident. Looking forward to what Omarion brings to the table on his next cd but for the time being 21 will do very well for me.

Fell a Little Short, Still Satisfactory
Omarion is my favorite male singer right now. Out of all the other R&B artists out right now, he's my biggest crush. I absolutely loved his first album, it was great listening and just an A+ CD. I listened to a couple of tracks before purchasing this album. I probably would have bought it even if I hadn't heard a single song from 21 just for the fact that it's OMARION! Anyway, I was really hoping that this album would be better. I waited a long time for it to be released and felt that it fell short from the wonderful debut album he gave us. My favorites from the albums are the slow, love songs. I feel that these are the songs that O does best in. I do still have love for his uptempo joints as well though, because he gets to demonstrate his amazing dancing skills (But he demonstrates those on his slow songs as well though so...) Nevertheless, 21 still has it's bright spots and for those it makes the purchase worth it. Plus, it's just O!! Favorite Tracks: 2. Ice Box 4. Made For TV 8. Just That Sexy

Ice box is one of my all time favourite choons. Its a nice album of dance and smoochy R n' B. For me its reminiscing of being in the soulful dance halls back in the day.

As from a young age you can see how talented this artist is, with his early material. Excellent cd.....

Die CD springt seit dem ersten abspielen an der selben Stelle. Packung war äußerlich unversehrt. Bin daher doch sehr enttäuscht.
