This item was perfect except for the carry overs which were to large compared to my old ones. The size here was 7.5" and the original ones for my Brinkman was 6.5"! I did find ones that were close and made them fit! All in all, this was a great kit for the price!

Was able to rebuild my BBq!

The rebuild kit worked well. Parts were the correct length, worked.Two things that needed adjustment:1) the mounting holes for the burners were on opposite side of the original. This caused a small gap between the three burner and the channels that connect each burner. This causes an interrupting in the flow of gas between the lit burner and the others. Still works, but with some extra lighting.2) They priced screws to mount the burner n channels to the grill. They need to be bold and nuts, since the screws they provided were smaller than the holes... this would be a loose am assembly.After my modifications, I got it to work good enough... I can live with it. Better than buying a while new grill.

Needed to replace the shields and burner connectors on my Brinkmann Medallion 5 burner 810-4580-S BBQ and was unsure if this would work as the measurements of the parts were just slightly different. I took a chance figuring if they needed mods it would be minor and I could easily do it. Received the parts and they all fit like a charm with no modifications. I would highly recommend this to refresh a BBQ and beats paying hundreds for a new one.

Length of channel sections about 1/2 shorter than original part leaving a gap to gas tube when installed. Still worked but takes a few seconds longer to ignite. Quality of construction is as good as original Brinkmann grill, which are no longer available in stores near me.

Our Brinkmann barBQ had been sitting under our eves for about 10 years. It would get a good cleaning in the fall and then sit there in the weather. The metal became corroded and the gas lines, heat deflectors and grills began to corrode and rust. It kept cooking, but was very ugly. So I decided to fix 'er up. I ordered your DG132 kit! The kit installed without a problem...BUT taking out the old corroded stuff is another story. I tried a grinder (to bulky), I bought a new blade for my multi-tool (but it didn't work well on the rusted wing nuts and bolts) then I got out my reliable Sawzall... and put a new short metal blade in her and it was "bye bye" to the old. There was a lot of scaling and metal flaking, but using a scraper and a shop vac made short order of that mess, too. Now she's ready for a new season... and we got her a cover and tent to keep off the elements. Hope it goes well for you. The kit is flawless, your barbecue may get different milage, but the trick, as I see it, is to preserve.

Product was cheap, and the middle parts were too short, so the only way the get all the burners lit was with a lighter or match. Has to rig it just to get the primary burner to light. I ended up trashing the whole thing and buying a new on. Let's face it, grills are disposable after two year max. Just buy a new cheap grill and know it will be in the dumpster soon.
