NHX RC 1/8 Twin Cyclone Alum HV Cooling Fans w/Cover 28000RPM Motor Heatsink Red

I got this in favor of the powerhobby/yeah racing dual fan unit for 40mm motors because it is made to fit the aluminum 30mm fans vs the 30mm plastic framed fans. The plastic framed fans tend to break if you jump a lot, which I do. The alloy framed fans are a bit larger, too large to fit the ph/yr motor cooler. You either have to modify the fans by shaving the edges down where they meet or elongating the holes.I have 2 of the PH coolers. One in my outcast on a surpass 4092 1650 and one on my e-revo 2.0 with an arrma blx2050 4074. They work great. I put this NHX cooler in my maxx on a 4075 castle 2200kv motor and it fit perfect. I did add a couple zipties to lock it to the motor. It felt snug, but I prefer making it a bit more secure so it doesn't walk around the motor when landing jumps.So far, it's working great. My last run was 2 6200mah 4S packs run in grass at a grass bmx track with 3.8" tires/wheels on it and the motor stayed below 115F. It was only 70F outside, but still, as hard as I was running it, this does seem to really help.If the fans on either of my other PH coolers die... I may replace the entire cooler with one of these. $30 is basically what 2 of the fans cost on their own anyway. Having a mount that I don't have to mess around with is just the cherry on top.

Good quality fan setup. Definitely can't beat the price for 2 high speed aluminum fans, heatsink and carbon fiber guards. I used the fans from one w a different heatsink on a kraton exb w the hw1650kv. This heatsink would of worked on the big motor too, but the other was already mounted. I then ordered another one to use on my senton 6s. Couldn't be happier with this setup. 2nd one I had my wife order for me and it just arrived today. One of the fans is inop, contacted seller and will see what happens. Will update my review when we get a reply.Update#2 no response on the second fan not working, so 1 good, 1 bad. Down to 3 stars now, was super happy w the 1st one, too bad.

Fits well, added thermal paste between motor and this, dropped post hard run temperatures on my typhon 6s by over 40 degrees.

Looks great, but plughed them in and 1 fan doesnt work. Unfortunately looks wont keep a motor cool.

Great fan. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is because the wires are not labeled negative and positive. They are not keyed either to the splitter. Cool that they give you a splitter though

Good fans for a good price but they are so loud you can hear them over everything from 2 blocks away
