Sophie vowed that would never happen to her … and then Joey bulldogged his way into her life and just would not take no for an answer.I loved the chemistry between Joey and Sophie. It was so hot when he spanked her, like off the charts, holy wet panties H O T!There were a lot of really great aspects of this book, but in some places it fell short for me. The author had a great concept and I could definitely tell she put a lot of effort and love into this book. Unfortunately, the times where the story felt rushed, a few places the timeline wasn’t quite right, and the unbelievability of how easily both H and h caved into the spanking … her caving as a punishment and him caving as a kink. It just felt forced.Overall I really enjoyed the read and will definitely read more in this series! Sophie Palazzo finds herself face to face with the Mafia Don's brother, Joey La Torre. But Joey's charm and persistence might prove to be more than Sophie can ignore.I loved the way Sophie and Joey played off each other. I like a sassy, mouthy heroine and Sophie was charmingly both. I found myself chuckling at the back and forth between the two characters. Renee Rose does an excellent job of making you fall in love with a man that you shouldn't want to fall in love with. I think I fell for Joey right along with Sophie. He works for the Mafia, an organization that does bad things, but there's something about him that makes you want to spend the rest of your life with him.In The Bossman you experience the highs and the lows with Sophie and Joey. There were parts I found myself laughing out loud, while other parts had tears blurring my vision. I was wishing so hard for their happy ending that at some points I didn't think it was going to be possible. I kept trying to read faster just to make sure everything came out all right.You should buy this today. Then you should call out of work and lock the door, because you're going to want some time and privacy!

Honestly, this book surprised me....I found it on the Dirty Bad Bloggers Page, Free, and although I usually don’t read those books immediately, I was between books and thought I’d give it a look......Next thing I knew I was half way through the book.....I just couldn’t put it down.....❤️🌼🔥Sophie Palazzo’s Dad was a mobster, killed by the mob and Joey LoTorre stops in her place of business for a massage, and wrangles a date from her....❤️🌼🔥Joey is a dominant man and has his own way of punishing Sophie for not obeying him, but they both realize, Sophie not only wants his “punishments” she needs them and will sometimes provoke hi, intentionally...❤️🌼🔥For most of the book, he is claiming her, and she is pushing him away.....Although she cares about Joey and what he brings to a relationship, she doesn’t want to end up with a mafioso for a husband....But, Joey is willing to do ANYTHING to please her, if she will give him a chance to prove it....❤️🌼🔥

Too say he loved his role in his family would be far from the truth, for Joey La Torre the Don's brother he does his job but there is an inkling of wanting something else. When he seeks out Sophia Palazzo to help with his troubled knee, he never expects to find a woman who captivates him body and soul.Sophia has no interest in getting involved in the mafias dealings. It already shattered her life once when her father was killed and although she is attracted to Joey she cant go there. Joey though feels otherwise and is determined to make Sophia his, but when the outside world creeps in it is about to shatter the delicate relationship they are building.This was a bit all over the map for me. I liked the concept but you have a lot to absorb and Sophia is treated by others for the sins of her father and mother. There is a kind of bullying attitude but then there are two other incidents that happens int he book that leave you scratching your head. I liked Joey I just think maybe if a bit longer some of the things would not have been so rushed.

I love how Sophie is a massage therapist and tortures Joey. Their chemistry is hot. She fights him tooth and nail not wanting to be involved with the “family”. This has some hot steamy times. Can’t wait for more.

Didn't think I would like this book but I did. Sophie, a masseuse and former Mafia Princess, looking for an Alpha male to dominate her and Joey, a "made man", seeking relief for an old injury meet in an unlikely way and begin a relationship. Sophie does not agree with the lifestyle that got her father killed and took him away from her and her mother so she resists Joey until he shows her a "firm hand", literally. Can they make their relationship work even though the odds are against them?I loved the story line and characters. Everything flowed together so well. There could have been more resolution regarding Sammy and also her acceptance from his m9ther. But overall a great read.

When Joey shows up at Sophie's massage clinic she feels the need to clarify the difference between a masseuse and a massage therapist. Sophie was an enigma to Joey. She wanted nothing to do with him because of his mafia connections but Joey had a way with things. They had a tumultuous relationship but in the end things settled just a bit. They found a way to be together that would work for them both and Joey found she liked being spanked and he liked to do it. So things will always be exciting

It is hard to turn down a hot bad boy. Mafia men are the ultimate panty-wetters. Rich, dangerous and dripping with Dominance. Renee is a wonderful author. I have read a few of her books. Joey and Sophie definitely entertained me. I like my men a bit more Dominant than Joey. Loved the f off scene lol However, for many the sweetness he has will make it a 5 star. Me, the rougher the better.

I haven't read this author before but she certainly writes with style, energy and a sound knowledge of her kink. Though I am not a fan myself of strong spanking I am sure this will appeal to those people who are. Good book.

What an interesting bad boy Mafia story. Sophie was raised in the family with a mother who was never happy about her father being part of the mob. After her father was killed, Sophie was left with a mother who was very bitter. Enter Joey, beautiful and dominant just the kind of man she swore she would never get involved with. If you want a romantic story with some domestic discipline you will love this one.

I absolutely flew through this book. Right from the very beginning I was hooked and couldn't put it down. It had me on the edge of my seat, fanning my face with the sexual tension and feeling the emotions of the characters. Renee is a new to me author but definitely will be one I will keep reading..
