The best for household use
Best so farFantastic pristine iron. Does the job perfectly. This is what I have been looking for all these while. Before the purchase, I bread about a lot of irons, spent over 2 hours and voala, this is it, blot also know that you get what you pay for, though there are others you pay more but they don’t match this quality. The weight is perfect for tough cotton materials. I mean this product wildly you to love ironing.I believe it is the answer to all. The cord length is very long, perfect design, outstanding steam output, no water leakage or drops. Just awesome to have.Go for it.

A good quality iron
Easy to use and not too light in weight it steams perfectly making ironing or pressing easy. Most of all it has a longer cord length of 3 meters instead of the usual 2 metres

Nice build, OK so far
Likes:Reasonable price point for a sophisticated 'intelligent' ironGood solid, qualify buildVertical steaming ability for curtains, clothes on hangers.Has a feature that avoids you needing to switch heat setting temperatures for use with different fabricsNice long 3m cordCan register the iron online at MR website for 3 year guarantee.Dislikes:- It's thirsty. You need to top the water tank up 2-3 times for a decent load of steam ironing.- The boxed manual print is tiny for those without great eyesight or magnifier. There is no online version to download for this model either, without third party pdf software to download (not recommended unless you want to screw up your computer). The MR website doesn't have instructions for this model either, although they do provide other steam iron manuals - one or two of quite similar models to this one.- The iron is a bit heavy, compared to some others on the market, so probably unsuitable for anyone frail or with arthritis in hand/wrist joints.- Probably not the right iron if you prefer to set your own fabric specific temperature controls. Sometimes intelli-this, that and the other can be petty dim in practice, so you could end up burning your clothes if this feature becomes faulty. I doubt the guarantee will cover a replacement garment as well as an iron.- Probably not the right model for anyone who prefers a simpler, lighter or more straightforward elbow grease iron with minimal instructions and features. The instructions are depressingly complex for anyone who doesn't like modern technological inteli-this, that and other with features you can't quite fathom out.

Brilliant iron
I really like the steam on this iron, it does a great job. I think the weight is fine but I prefer a slightly heavier iron, no water leakage, it’s easy to fill. It’s a good quality iron.

Intellitemp wonderful
After a long search to find the right iron I chose this Morphy Richards Intellitemp due mainly to the good reviews. I must say I am not disappointed. The Intellitemp does as it says from ironing a heavy cotton t-shirt and straightaway to a filmsy blouse without any problem and no waiting for the iron to cool as would normally happen. The only niggle, if you can call it that, is, as I have arthritic hands, I find the iron on the heavy side but nothing that cannot be handled and this does help with the ironing process. All in all I would certainly recommend this iron to any interested party. And by the way another bonus is the long cable on the iron which is a great advantage.
