This is a great fan to replace a 30 year old fan for a 1991 4Runner SR5 V6 3.0, standard drive 4x4. Even without the fan shroud this fan does a great cooling job in the southern California heat. I've only had it for 1 year so I don't know how long it will last but I do understand that AISIN products are good quality. UPDATE November 2020. As the photos demonstrate, this AISIN fan breaks at or around the 10mm bolt area. My fan broke in all 4 locations but only 2 of the broken pieces remained while the other 2 flew out. AISIN is a brand with a reputation for building good quality replacement parts. This fan only lasted less than 2 years. Perhaps it was a defective batch of fans, but I seriously doubt it. As an emergency, I'm only here to buy it again but with extended warranty only because I have to drive far this Thanks Giving Day weekend, 2 days from now, & I don't have time to experiment with electrical fans to get it right on such a far driving trip. So buyer beware.Update: Second fan was ordered Nov 24, 2020 & again this fan cracked in the same spots around the the same locations where it gets screwed into the fan clutch as photo demonstrates for yet, a previously Aisin purchased fan. However, on the Nov 24 purchase I actually bought a WARRANTY protection plan that I can't find on how to go about asking for a replacement here on Amazon of through the warranty protection, which makes me very angry that on my Amazon account, Amazon doesn't make it access for a warranty return specially since these AISIN fans are actually kept at the Amazon warehouse & are shipped directly from their warehouse. So now I will have to purchase a 3rd AISIN fan in hopes that Amazon will eventually reimbursement since they don't make the warranty process available through their web page. I've never been dissapointed on Amazon as with this AISIN fan purchase & lack of warranty replacement process not available. So today on NOVEMBER 23 2021 (almost 1 year exactly to the previous purchase) I will order a 3rd AISIN fan for my 914runner 3vze. Hope AMAZON reimburse the cost for a new fan.
