What is waist size mens large?

As printed on the inside label it says "L 38-40" 100% cotton.

Is this particular thermal pant's measure from waistband to crotch overly long, like so many of Indera thermal pants? What is size M's measure?

My M's measure from upper line of waistband to crotch in flat is 36 cm, as 14.17 inches. As the sew line is too hard, loose crotch is more comfortable.

Why does is 100% cotton advertised here, but product delivered to me is 50% Polyester?

I don't know but 50/50 is actually a bit warmer. I don't trust seller. Advertised as 'heavy' but mine were very thin. My advice--look for different seller.
